We are journed into executive session. We will be returning to this meeting for the any open business needed to be conducted. Thank you. We are back into public meeting at 1:40 p.m. At this time, I make a motion we adopt resolution 113-2025, a resolution to authorize the township administrator to execute a memorandum of understanding. Is there a second? I'll second. At this time, because this is a special meeting, I would invite any public comment regarding resolution 113-2025.
You don't mind making your way to the podium?
My name is Randy Gunlock, 8263 Crowsley Road, Spring, Ohio. First thing I want to say is thank you all especially Chris because his team is playing as we speak and but seriously thank you all for coming here on new with literally New Year's Eve final day of the year. Um I know you guys I think you guys have been in there um talking. [clears throat] Um, I just wanted to go over where we've been and I I think you're fairly well aware of it, but um, my company, RG Properties, been working with your staff toward um, [clears throat] for a good part of this past year on a solution to take the 10 acres of vacant land that is out there on the east side of 741 around the main entrance of the Kroger. and to be able to use that for several purposes all in the long-term interest of all stakeholders and by all stakeholders I mean Miami Township RD properties the residents of Miami Township and the surrounding area and the general consumer uh in the region. Um, [clears throat] goal number one was, of course, to eliminate the two dangerous full access points on the 741 and allow the affected property owners access to an existing traffic signal, but through our property through a construction project that we're contemplating by building um these public roads and and providing public building Um,
it would allow us then to develop the remainder of our property with retail and hospitality uses while creating a long-term cash flow for the township without the township incurring unnecessary risk. We will also be be bringing very popular users to serve the community needs. And I have to say that because I live probably because I live four miles I guess away. Um we've been very careful about who those users are and they are top of the category. each one of them, the bank, the coffee shop, the restaurants, the car wash, they're all at the top of their category. Um, so the last thing, I'd be happy to answer any questions.
We we appreciate you coming. We appreciate your comments. We're excited to uh work with you. We haven't yet taken a vote, so I won't say any more, but um we we do appreciate you being here today. Thank you. Happy to get get this before us on the last day of the year. Thank you. Thank you. Any trustee comments? No. No. I again just like to reiterate my thanks to uh RG Properties, my continued appreciation for the staff's efforts on this and uh it's an exciting project we're looking forward to after this vote. Uh [clears throat] Mr. Klingan, will you take the vote, please? Yes, Mr. Posey. Hi, Mr. Culp. Hi. That being all the business in this special meeting, I adjourn the meeting at 1:44.
