Be back on designing the bags. feature the veterans. committee logo the town logo obviously we're not we're not going to be with the tree low what's that's going to be that's already gone this year right or is it how long does that stay in place but. yeah um.

I think we were going to use it for a year, but I can check with our team to see if it's still relevant. Yeah, if it's still relevant by the time the Ranger. Because I think we used it last year, right? Yes. So I'll check with that.

Oh, the problem with the shirts or the sponsors. Yeah. Maybe we, we just, we'll cut it off early and that's it. We'll get the sponsors in and if they're not in, they'll get on the billboards, they'll get on the advertisements, they'll get on the flyers, they'll get on other things. But yeah, I don't want to push those shirts like that. That was like the most special thing in two years of doing this was the shirts. So I'll get out my folder and for the next meeting, we'll talk about a deadline and start.

sponsorship uh whatever we give the sponsor the package package i let them know is the cutoff to be on the shirt yeah that way you have two cutoffs so i'll have like an actual cutoff cutoff and then we'll have a shirt cut off yeah yeah so they know yeah so they know okay that's a good idea so we'll have two cutoffs and then i'll give plenty of time to get the shirts and we'll just Well, I think it's safe to keep with the 600 shirts. I mean, that's always been close enough. And I think we were good with sizes last time. Yes. Okay. I would like to get 700 because I really feel like we're going to get closer to 700. We're doing the ribbon color. Remember? The top three, they get bronze, silver, or gold ribbon on their medal. Like we did last year, the year before.

I know, but you had two of the same kind of metals. The metals were the same thing.

It's hard to mint. The minting's different metals. It's going to probably be $1,200 for each one to mint them, just to set up for the minting.

And it's the cost. And also, people were trying to get it broken. Oh, yeah, sir. So it actually works real well when we do it with a different color of ribbon. Not a little black or nothing like that. No. Trying to minimize cost. And we were consistent. I think we've done it with two leaves in a little bit.

Two years in a row with this, and it's worked well. And then we have, you know, what's also cool is we have the Councilman and Meriton medal presentations. They all stand out there, and they get the gold, and they stand on the podium, and they look like Olympians, you know what I mean?

Oh, and we have also the warm-up sponsor. We can put that actually officially onto the sponsorship package. We haven't done that.

Right, so we'll do first on social media until next meeting and be sponsored progress. So far, I haven't heard she is committed in sponsoring I haven't beat anybody else, but I'm trying to let them get the first half of the year before I start beating them up for money again.

I'll probably be able to get some $500 sponsorships from, you know, probably American Legion will do it. And probably, well, you're going to get 25% of it back.

And they will give me the date and they pretty much will be running it and it will just be basically sponsored. Um, the other thing about I talked about last time, it's in a minute, uh, going to the military affairs board for the county. And it was on the agenda and we didn't have form unfortunately at the county military affairs board. However, they're going to do a special call meeting. To vote on that and then once now we have a forcing action, you know, once the military affairs board. as you know, to pass a motion requesting that we allow the banners to be on Northwest 67. Then the Military Affairs Board will draft a letter letting the County Commission and the Mayor know to be presented to them that the Military Affairs Board advises that we allow to do this. They'll start rolling to advise and recommend. And then see if we can get it passed and have it happen. So now we can have the military banners on 67. yeah and minor links so that's where we're at so we're waiting to get the date for the special call i'm currently drafting up the letter that will be given to the mayor and the county commissioners once that motion is passed and i'll probably end up drafting the solution to the resolutions that way we have something to vote on do you have a name for the special policy for the special quality of military advisory board um nope not yet we just met I wanna say the 30th, we just met the 30th. So that's what's going on. All right, that's my update. Back onto the agenda. Okay, old business. So on the six at six o'clock we need to 545 for them.

And I just want to share something with you guys that I learned just recently. The top five countries in the world that get the most immigrants, the United States is number one. Yes. And then how much of it are we number one? The next four countries underneath the United States combined get less people than the United States. So You know, when everyone complains about this nation and stuff like that, I know we don't. You know, just let them know that. You know what? Where do people want to go? You know, people want to go to the United States. This past year, they got 53 million legal immigrant applications. France, which is on the top five, got 11 million. They didn't want to go to France. And that's in the top five. You know? germany was up there too but it was like 12 million so those places that everyone thinks are the most wonderful places and those are great places those are really great places france and germany we are just five times better and that is what we're celebrating this coming saturday is the 250th birthday of the greatest nation on earth and in mankind's history So I hope to see you there, and God willing, the weather will be good.
