Southeast Overtown/Park West Community Redevelopment Agency - Regular Meeting

Welcome to the Southeast Overtown Park West CRA meeting for July 23rd, 2026. I am Christine King, your chair. We are joined by our executive director, Mr. James D. McQueen, and our deputy director, Mr. Vince Brown Esquire. Mr. Brown, would you read the items into the record that are before us today?

Yes, ma'am. Good afternoon. Item one is a resolution rescinding CRA-R25-0028, adopted on June 17, 2025, as entirety for the purchase of properties located at 942 Northwest 3rd Avenue and 950 Northwest 3rd Avenue, Miami, Florida, 33136. Item number two is a resolution with attachments by forfeits to vote, ratifying, approving, and confirming the executive director's recommendation. And finally, Exhibit A, that competitive negotiation methods and procedures are not practicable, advantageous, waiving the requirements of competitive bidding, authorizing the executive director to award a grant in the amount not to exceed $350,000 to underwrite costs of critical capital repairs of Touching Miami with Love Building in Overtown, located at 711 Northwest 6th Avenue, Miami, Florida, 33136.
