Good afternoon all. I am your chair, Christine King. We are going to have our attorney read the items for the record.

Thank you, Madam Chair. First resolution is a resolution of the Board of Commissioners of the Southeast Overtown Park West CRA authorizing a grant in amount not to exceed $75,000 to the Liberty City Community Revitalization Trust to underwrite costs associated with the 2026 Youth Employment Program, which provides employability and financial management skills to low-income and at-risk youth. AUTHORIZING EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO DISBURSE FUNDS AT HIS DISCRETION ON A REIMBURSEMENT BASIS DIRECTLY TO VENDORS UPON PRESENTATION OF INVOICES AND SATISFACTORY DOCUMENTATION SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY OF FUNDING FROM ACCOUNT NUMBER 1005192010188300000000. OTHER GRANTS AND AIDES NON-TIF REVENUE FUND FOR AUTHORIZING EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO NEGOTIATE AND EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT. CRA resolution number two is a resolution of the board of the SCOPW CRA by a four-fifths affirmative vote, ratifying, approving, and confirming the executive director's recommendation of finding attached and incorporated herein as exhibit A, that competitive negotiation methods and procedures are not practicable or advantageous pursuant to sections 1885 and 1886 of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, and waiving said procedures, awarding a grant in an amount not to exceed $1,092,600 to St. John Institutional Missionary Baptist Church to underwrite costs for urgent repair and rehabilitation in accordance with the 40-year recertification requirements at 1328 Northwest 3rd Avenue, authorizing the executive director to disburse funds at his discretion on a reimbursement basis or directly to vendors upon presentation of invoices and satisfactory documentation subject to the availability of funding. from the accounts listed herein, and authorizing the Executive Director to negotiate any and all documents necessary on forms acceptable to counsel. And the third item is a resolution of the SCOP WCRA Board of Commissioners by forfeits affirmative vote ratifying, approving, and confirming the executive director's recommendation to finding, attach, and incorporate as exhibit A that competitive negotiation methods and procedures are not practicable or advantageous pursuant to sections 1885 and 1886 of the Code of the City of Miami FLORIDA AWARDING A GRANT IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $1,500,000 TO MARCUS SAMUELSON DEVELOPMENT GROUP TO OFFSET PROJECT BUILDOUT COSTS FOR THE ADAPTED REUSE AND REDEVELOPMENT OF THE HISTORIC CLYDE KILLENS POOL HALL LOCATED AT 920 NORTHWEST SECOND AVENUE, AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO DISBURSE FUNDS AT HIS DISCRETION ON A REIMBURSEMENT BASIS OR DIRECTLY TO VENDORS. Upon presentation of invoices and satisfactory documentation subject to the availability of funding from the accounts listed herein, further authorizing the executive director to negotiate next to you any and all documents necessary, all in forms acceptable to counsel.

Chaplain Stanley Young, 500 Northwest 2nd Avenue, Miami, Florida. I'm speaking on number one, youth employment. That's the way to go. I hope each commissioner grab a hold of this and run with it. We need to start our youth out in the business world right by teaching them certain ethics that they would need to continue in a corporate manner. So I'm 100% for youth employment. I support it. Let's do it. This is how you fight crime. This is how you fight illiteracy. This is how you fight a lot of social ills in our community by getting our youth involved in the business world right. Good morning, Chairman King and the Commission. My name is Ron Frazier. I'm a retired architect and urban planner, and I've been a volunteer consultant to the church for this renovation. I've helped them select the architect to bring the project back up to state, as well as the contractor. One of my responsibilities was to review the cost, help them through the certification process, and to make sure that everything got back on track. So I'm only here to tell you that I'm in support of this project, but also to answer any other questions that you may have. We put together a pretty thorough report analyzing the situation and what have you. So that's about it. Thank you.
