We don't see that until the posting closes and then we get to review the list of applicants. When does it close? I believe it closes on the 21st.

Of July, so we only have a week left.

Yeah. It was up, because it's a temp position, they're up for a shorter amount of time. So we do have a week left.

Okay. If no workshop, I know you mentioned that there was a time sense of matter for maybe scheduling a special meeting.

Because we don't have a meeting in August, we do have the option to schedule a special meeting for the board if the board chooses to.

In August or before?

It can be before. It just has to be noticed at least 10 days from the meeting date.

So I think last time, what I recall is that you did an email poll survey so that we knew we could do that. So can you do that this week and see if you can come up with a date? I'm here through, actually I'm not here all of August, but I'm happy to try to figure out a date so that we can get some of these passed. But I think it makes sense to have a poll and see when we can at least get five people.

We will coordinate with the hearing board's teams to send out those emails.

So even though August is not a meeting month, we can propose, try to have one, and let's do it. A special meeting, that's right. A special meeting, let's do it.

Okay. I think last year's special meeting was also in August, maybe, possibly.

I believe it was, yeah, it was definitely in the summertime, yeah.

There's just one item, one thing I wanted to mention. I just wanted to, at some point, discuss the idea of an invitation, how we would go ahead inviting an artist to look at one of our projects, how that process would work.

Inviting an artist to what, sorry?

To invite an artist to look at one of, like Freedom Park, for instance, how we can work in early on, somebody who would look at this conceptually and come up with an idea, and then we would So we would be proactive in inviting the artist ahead of a predetermined site.

Right. That would be in coordination with Freedom Park. So the artist would have to reach out to Freedom Park as well.

So how would we, how does that happen?

I can find a contact for that. If we have the artist reach out to me, I can forward them that information.

Well, I feel like we have a few steps before that. So last meeting, we agreed that you were gonna reach out to Freedom Park and the city administration building, and you were gonna ask them to come to us so that they could present what the art opportunity was? For September, that's correct. Okay, and then so then from there, we can move on to figuring out the- So that would be in September? That would be in September, that's right.

So in other words, us as a member of this organization, council, I mean this board, we are allowed when artist call is coming to present it to any artist that we know that will be good for that particular artist call?

Well, if it's an open call, you're able to share the information with them. All right.

That's good news. But this would be more of not so much an open call, but a direct invitation. Like we would discuss artists in general and maybe do a short list and then come.

We would have to, I believe we would have to meet with the Freedom Park to see how they would like to go about the artist selection for the project.

All right. In September will be, okay, awesome. Will there be people from Freedom Park at our meeting?

Well, we will share the request with the developers and we will share the request, well, we've already shared the request with the special projects division in the planning department. They're handling the permitting and coordinating for the public art before we take it over and start the board process.

To add one thing, you all will have to analyze what the MFP is proposing, because it's some quasi-judicial based on objective criteria. But we can look into that a little bit later and get a specific answer for you all.
