AGENDA ITEMS•Item 1.
consider the information from the community engagement update to be presented by the Board's facilitator;
AGENDA ITEMS•Item 2.
review, evaluate, and finalize the Board's selection of semi-finalists after reviewing the results of each candidate's background check and other vetting procedures and confirming that each candidate meets the minimum qualification requirements approved by the School Board;
AGENDA ITEMS•Item 3.
determine as to how the Board wishes to proceed with the approved list of semi-finalist and the next steps to identify the finalists;
AGENDA ITEMS•Item 4.
identify the Board's selection of finalists;
AGENDA ITEMS•Item 5.
determine the procedures governing the finalist interview process, including the format and organization of the public interviews;
AGENDA ITEMS•Item 6.
authorize the School Board Chair to call a Special School Board meeting at an appropriate date and time not prior to the August 13, 2026 timeline, pursuant to and consistent with prior Board action, for the purpose of conducting the final interviews of the finalists and name the next Superintendent of Schools, as approved by the Board in the Superintendent Search Framework at its meeting of May 13, 2026; and
AGENDA ITEMS•Item 7.
authorize the General Counsel, once the Special Board meeting is set to be scheduled, to notify the finalists of the public interviews and the time they are set to participate in the process.
