City Council - Regular Meeting

Welcome to the agenda rundown. Here are some of the highlights from our July 15th City Council meeting. The City of Menifee celebrated a proclamation for Parks Make Life Better Month, highlighting the importance of parks and recreation in enhancing community well-being and quality of life in our community. The Menifee City Council voted four to one to deny the appeal of the Trumbull and Watson Warehouse, noting the heavy industrial nature of the surrounding area and the enhancements being made to help improve the blighted property, which was originally operated as an open pit mine and soil hauling facility. The Menifee City Council approved naming the Bradley Road Bridge to Freedom Bridge. The name was one of the recommendations made by the city's Veterans and Military Families Advisory Committee and is intended to honor Menifee's military community. The bridge will feature banners representing each branch of the military and memorial plaques on each side.
