Welcome to the agenda rundown. Here are some of the highlights from our April 15th city council meeting. The Meny City Council issued a proclamation declaring April as fair housing month and encourages all residents, housing providers and community stakeholders to uphold the principles of fair housing and to promote equal access to both housing and home ownership opportunities for all. The city of Meny approved the Americans with Disabilities Act self-evaluation and transition plan update which will serve as a planning tool for the city to strategically move forward in addressing the removal of accessibility barriers through a prioritized and phased approach. The Meny City Council approved the user fee schedule updates, which will bring community services fees closer in line with regional averages and help offset operational costs while continuing to provide affordable options for residents and community groups.
