One real brief one, Mr. Chair. I just want to call attention for the residents of Henrico County. This weekend, we will be once again able to showcase not only what makes this county one of the jewels of our county, but our region, where we'll be on national television welcoming 50,000 to 100,000 plus visitors over the course of the week to a facility right here in the heart of Henrico County at Richmond Raceway. Thank you, madam. Public hearing is closed.
Mr. Smith. Thank you, Mr. Chair. Ms. Moore, just a few quick clarification questions. I know the answers to them. I just want to make sure the applicant is aware. Some of this has changed. We had several meetings about it. I appreciate all your great work on it. I appreciate the applicant coming back. I think the extra meeting we had just a few weeks ago was very helpful. Ms. Moore, you mentioned the 126 to 200 people that could be in the Indoor space, is that correct? And the number of parking spots total is 110, 115-ish still? And no consumption of alcoholic beverages at any time on the property? That's correct. Indoor or outdoor?
And it can't be rented, leased, or provided for outside activities other than the direct control of the lodge and the membership? That's correct. Meetings and their events? Yes, sir. Awesome. Thank you all for your great work on this and for your open communication with it. Ms. Moore, thank you for the extended time. And I know you took on this case. Mr. Chair, if my colleagues don't have any other questions on it, I move that we follow the recommendation of the Planning Commission and approve PUP 2026-100970, Richmond Lodge of Perfection A and ASR, with the recommended conditions that are dat

Thank you so much, sir. This is a public hearing. Is there any person present that would like to speak to this? Is there anyone on the line that would like to speak to this? Thank you so much. So a quick question. So I noticed that the buyer first offered to purchase the property. Yes. And the question I want to know, was the surplus property publicly offered for sale before negotiation began with a single purchaser?
And the reason I ask that is, you know, it's in a residential neighborhood, correct, Mr. Curtis? And so we talk about affordable housing. Have we considered whether surplus residential lots like this should be prioritized for affordable homeownership like Maggie Walker Land Trust, even neighborhood revitalization, before we just proactively accept, you know, offers from persons without talking about this or offering to others?
I appreciate that. I'd love to talk more about that, if I could. Yes.
I appreciate that clarification because that speaks specifically to the point I was trying to make. Thank you. I want to defer this, Mr. Manager, to the next meeting, September 8th. I don't want to approve it today.

Mr. Chair, before, what's your name again, sir? Mr. Parker, Mr. Chan, can you come up for a second? I have a question for you. You said you were back home. You said you were back in Alabama, and you heard that we – you said here we went days without water? You were in Alabama, and you heard here –
So you heard that in Henrico County, we went days without water.
Yeah, so what, so hold on, so a couple things, because I can't just let you, I could, but I'm not going to just let you come and say that without some facts behind it. Mr. Chan, at what point this summer did we lose water?
Sir, if you don't mind, please, respectfully, I didn't cut you off when you were talking. Hold on for a second. No, let's clarify. You said what? Go ahead. I'm sorry.
All right. That's not what you said, but we'll pause for a second. Mr. Chan. What can you tell us about the voluntary water conservation efforts during the summer?
We were asking everyone to conserve water, business, And residential? Yes, sir. All right. So we do know how much water we use in the tech park where our hyperscale data centers are.
Respect to you, young brother, and good luck to you this year at Tuskegee. I'm proud of what you're doing, honored to have you living in Verona. These issues that you speak of are serious, and I, too, like you, think that we have reached our max for expansion of data centers in our community. But I also have to make sure that The facts are getting out there, and that's why I asked our DPU director to come up and share. If you want to get more real data from Enrico County, I can get it to you. We can get it to you. Some of what you hear might not be all factual, but respect. I hear you with Flo
I don't think that we will get to a point where we will ask any industry to stop before the citizens, but The summer is pretty much over. And we have, I don't know, Bentley, if you want to talk. And Mr. Chair, I'm sorry. I don't want to get into a back and forward with this young man. So let's do this. Whatever kind of questions you have, I'll get you the answer. All right? So I don't want to take over our meeting with a back and forward. That's fine. I'll get you the answer. Yes, sir.
