The Board of Directors approved the agenda and minutes, then recognized Michael Todd, "The Monster," for his 24 world and 48 national arm-wrestling titles, presenting him with a key to the city. The City Manager reported on new hires, promotions, cooling shelters, the Stokes Creek Greenway, a bicycle-friendly community survey, a $100,000 grant for the Community Resource Center, a "Tip a Cop" fundraiser, and first responder training. The Board also acknowledged the 2025 Annual Comprehensive Financial Audit Report and approved a resolution to condemn a nuisance property on Barrett Street.
