Any questions of staff? I got a question. I'm looking at the site and it looks like it's very similar to the rest of the property to the, I guess it would be to the east and to the south, which is in the RDA. I just wonder how much of this site is floodplain. I mean, it looks like it's been previously mined. It's hard to tell. I know we don't have a site plan before us, but I'm just wondering how the site is suitable for development.

28:09•Merle H. Bishop

I'm just trying to visualize how that site can be developed. Okay.

28:20•Merle H. Bishop

36:33 – 36:45•Merle H. Bishop

I'll open up the meeting for any public comment. Is anyone to speak in favor or in opposition to this request? Seeing none, I'll bring it back to the board for discussion and a motion.

41:18 – 41:38•Merle H. Bishop

Thank you. So next on the item was to be comprehensive plan update, which we're not having. So the next I see, I guess this is interim presentation. So the next is right away presentation.

43:20•Merle H. Bishop

And after her... You didn't sound real convincing with that.

44:01•Merle H. Bishop

Well, I got a question. Did they get to choose what projects they were working on or did you assign them? We assigned them.

53:16 – 54:07•Merle H. Bishop

Good job. Do we have any questions? I got one. It's not really a question, I guess, but I'm curious, in your research, Did you identify any problems maybe with the county? I say that because contractors and builders are always, time is money and they need to get going. And so they ask their engineer, why isn't this project getting started? Well, we're waiting on the county. And I'm just wondering if there was anything that you identified that that was part of the problem. becoming could the county do better in terms of its response to permitting and and getting projects started.

54:17•Merle H. Bishop

Was there any attempt or anything that you identified well This is a problem. The county's process causes delays.

55:32 – 55:43•Mike Hickman

So, Abigail, is there anything currently in place that you reviewed? Yeah, I mean, what have we been doing? Obviously, you've been controlling right-of-ways for...

56:18•Mike Hickman

Yeah, right. Is that for the county officials or is that for the county?

58:42 – 58:59•Mike Hickman

if you had a site that you could go to and identify who's right away it is, that would be the most helpful thing. So if I have a piece of property, I can, you know, sometimes it's cities, counties, state and who we have to deal with to get something done.

59:47 – 1:00:11•Merle H. Bishop

Well, before he starts, I'll say most people who know me know that I am a Gator, that I bleed orange and blue. But what you probably don't know is how close I came to being a War Eagle. So my second university that I do root for is Auburn.

1:10:54•Mike Hickman

Thank you. And did I hear you suggest that the county would look at purchasing land banking?

1:11:54 – 1:12:22•Merle H. Bishop

I got a question. Was there any consideration for limiting factors? Some of this land, as it's been reclaimed, is like tailings areas for phosphatic clays, like you mentioned. It's not all really available because there's limits. Also, particularly some of the older lands, you wouldn't want to develop because it's got a habitat now for all kinds of

1:21:11•Merle H. Bishop

Thank you. It's been a pleasure serving with you.

1:21:19 – 1:21:30•Merle H. Bishop

Seeing no other business on the agenda, do I have a motion to adjourn? Second. Motion second. All in favor signify by saying aye. Aye. We're adjourned.
