Planning Commission - Regular Meeting

The Planning Commission received a presentation from Bloxhub, a Danish urban sustainability organization, on their visioning work for the Totem Lake Southern Industrial Subarea. The presentation focused on innovative approaches to repurposing existing industrial structures and integrating new uses, including housing, while preserving the area's character and fostering community. Commissioners discussed the feasibility of these ideas, particularly regarding housing, and the need for flexible city processes to facilitate such pilot projects.
