The Board of Zoning and Building Appeals approved a variance request for Bryan and Julia Carr to maintain children's play equipment with a 7-foot side yard setback, rather than the required 50 feet, at their property on 6751 Evergreen Rd. The approval was granted with the condition that the variance expires at the earlier of ten years or when the property is sold to a new owner, at which point the play equipment must be removed.
