City of Homewood, October 12th. We are going to start with our old business agenda and item 2307.26, request for consideration to limit locations on EV charging stations. Brought to us from Chief Broadhead without objection. We will carry this item over one more time and we will take this up in two weeks. Next item is 2208.26, a request to annex property at 1587 Mountain Gap Drive into Homewood, brought to us from Mr. Segrist. We were going to hear from a couple of staff members, Chief Broadhead and Conrad Garrison on this item.
You mentioned before there being sort of a process in place for how we annex and the rules that would go along with that. I like that idea a lot more than the way that this was, which is really like a lot of uncertainty and really just sort of a unscientific sort of opinion. I think it would be better if we did figure out a way to write a process around how we would want to annex. Even if, listen, the topography, all that, there's a reason why he's requesting it and trying to figure out how we get the right amount of information or require the right amount of information so that we can make a

Do we have an indemnification agreement for Dixon from last year?
Right, so to work in the city of Right Wing, you have to get approval from the city and then sign an indemnification agreement. We're fine to sign an indemnification agreement. It's usually done before the work is done.
All right. Next item, we will move on to new business. 0-1-10-26, a request to authorize the city manager to execute a lease agreement with the Chamber of Commerce. Brought just from Mr. Smith. We will move this out tonight. Mr. Smith.

Okay. We are now going to return to item 03-1026, the city attorney. Oh, I forgot. Sorry, I forgot.
Thank you so much. All right. We are now going to return to item 03-1026. The city attorney has advised that this matter is appropriate for discussion in executive session under the anticipated litigation exception to the Alabama Open Meetings Act. He's provided a written declaration supporting that determination, which will be included in the minutes. So I will now entertain a motion and a second to enter executive session for that purpose. Yes. Okay. Motion carries and we will now enter executive session. We will reconvene at 6 o'clock at our regularly scheduled council meeting next door.
