ZA 26-05 Public hearing and consideration of a zoning text amendment allowing data centers as a conditional use in the Public Lands District, Waterfront District, Industrial District, Gary Paxton Special Zone, and General Island District.
The request is filed by the City and Borough of Sitka.
ZA 26-04 Public hearing and consideration of a zoning map amendment to rezone 501 Shennett Street, 501 Lake Street, 600 Baranof Street, 215 Marine Street, 207 Princess Way, and 803 and 805 Sawmill Creek Road in the R-1 single-family and duplex residential district and the P public lands district.
The properties are also known as the unsubdivided remainder of U.S. Survey 226; U.S. Survey 11423; Block One (1), U.S. Survey 2865; Lot One-A (1A), Russian Orthodox Cemetery-Mathews Lot Line Adjustment; Lot One (1), Lutheran Cemetery Lot Line Adjustment; and Lots One (1) and Two (2), U.S. Survey 1558. The request is filed by the City and Borough of Sitka. The owners of record are the State of Alaska Department of Natural Resources, the City & Borough of Sitka, the Orthodox Diocese of Sitka & Alaska, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and the Sitka Cemetery Association.
