We will skip the approval of the minutes, but please everybody review them. If we happen to get quorum, we'll go back to it, but we can't approve them without quorum. So we'll go to the Marine Patrol report. Good afternoon.

We were able to get ahold of the owner. Miami authorized release back to the owner who met us at Matheson. So I just towed it over to him, gave it back to him.

4:05•Deborah D. Swain

And it should be a hundred percent operation. So we're, we're very excited about that.

11:32 – 11:43•Deborah D. Swain

I'm sorry. Before we go from that, we should probably change the word launch to access because it's not going to be available, I don't think, for launching. There's no. They mentioned launch.

12:19 – 12:39•Deborah D. Swain

Can we... have for our next meeting the um the proposed design and this whatever stage it's in we like to just get it get an idea of what is what's going on sure will do

16:27•Deborah D. Swain

Yeah, I was going to suggest if you could do that at the next meeting or something.

17:02 – 18:12•Deborah D. Swain

That's an area that a couple years ago there was a lot of improvement to the waterway right there. The dredging? yeah some shoreline um we did some along the alhambra i want to say yeah it was all that yeah so yeah there's a bunch of new new shoreline stabilization or something that was there and it created a tremendous amount of sediment going all the way you know to where my house is which is just on the other side of the bill more so we'll see what the feedback curious to say i hope that goes well i'll be a nice yeah yeah we will find out soon enough i'm sure that they'll come back and repo

19:04 – 19:27•Deborah D. Swain

The last dredging, we were able to get a grant from the South Florida water management district because the, um, it was affecting the flood control obviously for the city. And also on the other side of 57th Avenue, it doesn't do any good for water to be able to flow quickly out in case of storm. if there is a lot of sedimentation in the Coral Gable sections. Yeah.

19:49•Deborah D. Swain

Sometimes it's not... a published grant, that's contacting your representative from the Water Management District, explaining what the issue is.

21:14 – 21:25•Deborah D. Swain

Not me. Anybody else? Okay. All right. Discuss among yourselves. That's the next thing. Discussion.

21:30 – 21:44•Deborah D. Swain

Old business? They want to rehash something that we've talked about already? Anything else from staff? All right. Our next meeting is November 4th.
