PC 26-19: Text Amendment for Landscaping Yard Ponds
260372 The petitioner, the Village of Lombard, is requesting text amendments to the Village Code Chapter 155, Zoning Code, and any other relevant sections for clarity and consistency. The petitioner is proposing to allow landscaping ponds in the required front, corner side, and rear yards as permitted obstructions. Proposed amendments include the following: 1. Amend Section 155.210 of the Village Code, Accessory uses, activities, buildings, and structures, to allow landscaping ponds and swimming pools as accessory structures. 2. Amend Section 155.212 of the Village Code, permitted obstructions in required yards, to allow landscaping ponds and swimming pools as an accessory structure. 3. Amend Chapter 155.802 of the Village Code, Rules and definitions, to define landscaping ponds. (ALL DISTRICTS)
