Board of Equalization - Regular Meeting

To whom it may concern, I, unfortunately am out of the country on 10/14/26 and cannot attend the hearing on my behalf. I very much want to be there, but this trip was planned several months ago and cannot be changed. I don't understand why an emergency meeting was called for this when it could have easily been addressed during your normal meeting time in February. It's also my understanding that an extension of this meeting is not possible. After speaking with Tran, I somewhat have a better understanding of the issue. I want to assure the board that this was truly an oversight and in no way an intentional avoidance. I'm sure all of you can appreciate the disaster that was Covid and the horrific financial destitution that some encountered as a result. I am one of those people who suffered as a result of Covid. I lost my business, had to sell my house and lived in a 5th wheel for several years and frankly I still have not fully recouped from that ridiculousness. While I realize this isn't an excuse for not disclosing the improvements on my property, it simply didn't occur to me with everything else going on. Your understanding is greatly appreciated.
