Forest Conservation Ordinance Update
The Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing to consider an update to the Forest Conservation Ordinance to bring the Charles County Code into conformance with Maryland's Forest Conservation Act.
3279 Leonardtown Road Project, Planned Development Zone Amendment (PDZA) #25-26
The Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing to consider an Applicant's request to rezone properties from the current base zones of IG (General/Light Industrial) and CB (Central Business) to the MX (Mixed Use) Zone to facilitate the development of 252 affordable multifamily dwelling units pursuant to Chapter 297, Article VII, Planned Development Zone Regulations, and Article XVII, Section 297-488, Local Map Amendments, of the Charles County Zoning Ordinance. The Applicant is also requesting approval of a 100% density bonus pursuant to Article XV, Moderately Priced Dwellings, of the Zoning Ordinance. THIS PROJECT HAS BEEN WITHDRAWN FROM THE AGENDA BY THE APPLICANT AND THE PUBLIC HEARING HAS BEEN CANCELLED
