Curatorial Panel Assessment of Submitted Works - Sculpture in Civic Center Park Exhibition, Phase XI
Arts Orange County will present the curatorial panel rankings of the Sculpture ExhibitionPhase XI entries. Cultural Arts Grants for Fiscal Year 2026-27

Art to be Reframed and Placed at Marina Park and the Mariners Library
Staff recommends that the City Arts Commission review and approve the Art in Public Places Ad Hoc Subcommittee's recommendation to reframe three pieces of art for placement at Marina Park and two pieces to be reframed and placed at the Mariners Library with the work being done by Best Framing. In addition, the Art in Public Places Ad Hoc Subcommittee is recommending three pieces of art which do not need to be reframed to be placed at Marina Park and one piece which does not need to be reframed at the Mariners Library. Central Library Lobby Gallery Exhibit Artist for Consideration - October 2026
Staff recommend that the City Arts Commission vote to approve the Art in Public Places Ad Hoc Subcommittee's recommendation to accept exhibitions by Americo Bianchi, Joshua Rivera, and Demetrios Lazarikos for the Central Library Lobby Gallery. Staff also recommend that the City Arts Commission vote to approve the Art in Public Places Ad Hoc Subcommittee's recommendation to reject exhibitions by Richard Michael Conti and Susannah Kulikauskas for the Central Library Lobby Gallery.
