I'm excited about this, and I made some comments during the special meeting at 5, but I just wanted to add a few things. You know, tonight, I think tonight we have a chance to do something that's very simple but long overdue. make sure that when new investment comes to the county, the families who already live here see a real return. I'm proud to have helped craft this resolution with all of you, and it does two things at once. First, it sets clear performance-based rules for business development grants, so we attract the right kind of growth, jobs, wages, capital investment, and companies wil

All right, Commissioner. Before we vote on it, I know when we had talked, we kind of bounced back. I know we went up front, but can we put like a little ticker on the front of the web page to actually, to where people don't have to click 700 different clicks to find how much is in that fund? Can we put it right there on the page so we can watch it go up?

We had the mental health board of directors meeting. Technically, it's an organizational meeting at this point. It's not an official meeting because we still have to fill several spots. At our most recent meeting, we received an update from Deputy Social Service Director Thomas Mitchell regarding the anticipated changes associated with the implementation of HR1 and the potential impacts on human services programs and the residents they serve. This is all a result of the transparency resolution we passed. They want it on the website. They are still developing that to put it out there, but we are very close to going live with that.
