Yes, thank you. One of the committees that I serve on as the council representative is the Eugene Sustainability Commission. The Sustainability Commission wrapped up its previous year's work plan right before we went on break. We'll be getting a report a little bit later on about all the activities and the great work that the Sustainability Commission did last year. But one thing I do want to highlight is that shortly before Either the day before or the day after our break started, we received a memo from the Sustainability Commission regarding policies to reduce embedded carbon in Eugene's bu

Any other items of interest from council? I know that it has been a very busy break. And also we have a very full fall ahead of us. I want to offer just a few clarifying points and following up on what Councillor Groves just shared. One is that when mentioning that we are going to address this, I believe the council is referring to the work session that we now have scheduled in the month of December. And also I think there could be an opportunity depending on where we end this evening with public comment to share a little bit more information. I want to add my appreciation for the clarity of t

And I'll just remind our audience, silent support. We can see that, and it is very clear to us. Thank you.

A lot of passion and concern shared about the future and development in our community, but also a request to do a good job, take time, and make decisions deliberatively, and that is currently the process that we have laid out. I do also want to s

Yes, thank you and thank you to everyone who came out tonight. I share many of the concerns that were brought up surrounding AI and data centers and non-disclosure agreements. And just to be clear, I have not signed a non-disclosure agreement and I will not sign a non-disclosure agreement. To emphasize, I think, what the mayor just said, we heard a lot of requests for a moratorium tonight. My understanding is that a moratorium has a very specific definition under Oregon land use law, and it's a very temporary pause that can happen for an allowed use in a situation where an attorney and manager

Thank you, Councillors, for those thoughts and feedback. Thank you again to all of the people who gave public comment this evening and have also written with information about data centers. This is a topic that had a lion's share of attention at public comment tonight. I would be remiss if I didn't also mention that there are resources on the City of Eugene website that speaks to this detail in the specific and technical language. And for some of you who also are looking for more information and researching, those are very useful resources and appreciation to our staff for building those FAQs.
