Thank you, Ms. Gossett. We'll go ahead and open the public hearing. I don't have any speaker cards. Would anyone from the audience like to speak in favor or against the budget? All right. Seeing none, we'll close. Well, actually, I should have probably read my statement first. Hold, please. The first item to be discussed is the proposed millage rate. The budget for the city of Jacksonville Beach was prepared using a millage rate of 3.9947 mils. The rolled back rate is 3.7679 mils. The proposed millage rate of 3.9947 mils is 6.02% more than the rolled back rate. The second item to be discussed

Second. We have a motion and a second. Is there any discussion? Mr. Watters.

11:03 – 12:16•Christine Hoffman

Thank you, Mr. Hanson. I would echo that. Thank you, Ashley and your team and all of the department heads and your leadership for your thoughtful and tireless work. on the budget. I really appreciate how diligent everyone has been, including my colleagues on the dais, to be active participants in this progress, in this process, and asking questions, but also understanding there's a lot more behind the scenes to operating a city even than what we see today. So

14:47•Christine Hoffman
