2:53 – 3:38Speaker 1

Uh well, we do commercial res commercial storefronts and our materials come in at 24 foot long. So, at the present address, we have two 40ft conx containers uh that we would like to place along the back right side of our building and cover up. Basically, 24 foot long takes up a lot of real estate inside the building. So, it just kind of helps us with uh All right. Mr. Moore, um have you received any public commentation? We have not. Yeah. Would you mind going in and telling the board what staff's recommendation is including and conditions?

3:35 – 4:43Speaker 1

Sure. Staff finds uh the request for a special exception to establish an accessory outdoor storage area at the subject property uh meets the standards for the training of the special exception. Staff recommends approval of special exception with the following conditions. One, the area dedicated to the storage of sugar container shall only be those areas described on the site plan that was submitted alongside the application and shall comply um with section 36.2 act 423 of the zoning code. Number two, the area dedicated to outdoor storage shall be screened from the abiding residential districts by solid fence or wall to a height of 6 feet per section 36.2-6. 2-67 is the zoning code. Number three, in addition, the area dedicated to outdoor storage shall be screened from Williamson Rose West and from the adjoining commercial general property to the north by solid fence opaque gate for wall to6 and sir were you aware of the conditions preferred by staff?

4:42 – 5:21Speaker 1

I am. Yes, sir. And you agree with the condition? I do agree. Yes, sir. Okay. Uh there's been some discussion among um board about possibly uh making a recommending addition to increase this height of defense to 8 ft. Okay. Would you all be willing to accommodate that? Absolutely. All right. Um board members, are there any questions at this time for staff or for the applicant? Is it just going to be the two shipping same shipping containers or they go back and forth depending on the project you're doing?

5:19 – 5:47Speaker 1

No, they're we keep them permanent on the on site. Yeah. They don't get moved. If I need anything out on site, I usually rent a separate container to put on site temporarily. Yeah. All right. Um I at this point in time, I'll go ahead and open up the public uh comment portion of this hearing. Mr. clerk, do we have anyone registered to speak on this matter today? We don't.

5:44 – 6:30Speaker 1

Okay. Uh I'm not seeing any members of the public who are out there. I'm assuming there's no one else that would like to speak on this application. Hearing none, I'll go ahead and close the public comment portion on the application. U board members, do we have uh I guess we need to go ahead if we're going to raise require the high defense to be raised. We go ahead and make a motion for that now. Do it at the end. Uh I would recommend a discussion um whether or not you all think there is something needs to be changed. Um obviously if it's um something that you all decide does need to be changed to the recommended conditions then you'll need to like just restate those so that they go public correctly.

6:28 – 6:58Speaker 1

Okay. Um, is there anyone that would not like to see the height of the fenced one and a half inches further for 4 mm? Yes. Did you respect why we determined what

6:55 – 7:51Speaker 1

Mr. Garner? I can try and explain that if if you don't mind. Um so in the CG zoning district we allow for fence heights up to 8 ft. Um we have recommended six feet. However, uh the shipping payment containers themselves I believe are about 8 and 1/2 ft tall. And so the conversation was um you know basically we had recommended a six foot tall fence because that's a pretty standard fencing. 8 ft is a little bit taller um would cover a lot more of the container itself. Um and the CG zoning district does allow for height. We have on we have in our staff report 60 you all are basically having conversation about whether or not he be something they would like to further addition.

7:51 – 9:26Speaker 1

Oh because of the six foot height proposed um by staff and because it doesn't completely cover the height of the shipping container. I myself would like to see the height be raised to 8 ft. Um, do we have a board member who would like to recite the wording of the proposed conditioning? Mr. Chairman, I move that we amend the application uh with following conditions. Number one, the area dedicated to storage areas described in the second application section 36.2-43. 2-43 zoning code. Number two, the area dedicated restoration to be screened from the residential districts by south fencer wall to a height of 8 ft per section 2-637 in zoning zone number three. The addition area dedicated storage should be screened from road northwest and for enjoying commercial general property to the north by solid fence or p gate roll to a height of 8 ft. Thank you, Mr. Williams. Okay. Um, any other comments by board members or questions for the applicant or staff? Okay. All right. Do we have a motion to um amend the application?

9:24 – 10:09Speaker 1

Okay. All right. Second. Thank you. Thank you, Mr. H. All right. Uh Mr. Clark, will you go ahead and u take a vote on amending the application with additions proposed by staff and then by the board? Sure. Mr. Garner. Hi. Mr. Hadler. Hi. Mr. Logan. Hi. Mr. Miller. Hi. Mr. Barney. Hi. Thank you, Mr. No comments. Can we go ahead and take the final vote on the amended application? Mr. Gordon. H. I'm sorry. We do need a motion. We have a motion, a second. I move that we approve the application as amended. Second. All right. Thank you, Mr. Logan and Mr. Garner. M clerk, we go ahead and take the final vote. Thank you, Mr. Garner.
