We had a busy evening on February 17th. We began with a committee of the whole meeting where we discussed uh the employee recognition event that the city puts on every year with some changes that were recommended by staff in the committee that uh does this program. Uh we then moved on from the committee of the whole to our council meeting. Not a real full agenda, but some very basic items were covered this evening when we started with our consent agenda. We then did have two proclamations this evening. Uh we we had a proclamation for government um communications day and we had a procla and then we had a presentation from keep Columbus Beautiful regarding the great American cleanup pledge. We followed that up with more of our normal meeting agendas. Two items on our public hearings. We received an update on the loop river bridge construction. We reviewed two items for new new business, a couple of purchases from a different couple of different departments. We approved the purchase of a new control system upgrade for one of our lift stations and we then followed our com our city council meeting with a community develop meeting. That meeting uh took place to approve uh multiple purchases that were being done by uh businesses along the 23rd Street corridor in conjunction with the uh improvements were done that were done to that street over the last three years for improvements on their businesses.
