We would like to extend an offer to a candidate for the Highway Department so that the officer in charge can do a background check before we make a final offer. So I would make a motion to accept roadways and facilities Department Crew Chief Downey's recommendation to extend a conditional offer of employment to laborer candidate RF091626C at a rate of $25 per hour for 40 hours per week, pending license and background check with no disqualifying factors and a probationary period of six months.
