ter. [clears throat] Go ahead. I'd like to welcome everybody to the February 10th, 2026 public safety committee meeting. Do I have a called meeting to order? Do I have a motion to accept the agenda? So move. Second. All in favor? I. Do I have a motion to approve the January 13, 2026 minutes? So moved. Second. All in favor? [clears throat] Motion carries.
And if we could go around the room real quick and just introduce who we have here, I'm Terry Goodwin, public safety chair, Ward 4, alderman. Alderman Garton, um, public safety vice chair, alderman Ward Five. Uh, Don Ward, alderman Ward two. Jim Jones, chief of police. Mayor Jamie Clary, George Edwards, chief of fire department. Steve Frost, treasure with Shackle Allair Fire Department. Joshua Morrison, the assistant chief of police. Ian Durham, number one fire department.

And we are going to wave the two rig rule and go ahead and send this on to BMA tonight. I'm hoping so.
Okay. So, um I move to send this to Bos recommendation. Second. Second. All in favor? I. Any other agenda items from anyone? Do I have a motion? Motion to
