Commissioner Barello, Commissioner Gala, Commissioner Schwarzer here, and Commissioner Bilstein here. All right, we have Corum. Commissioner Gler has an excused absence. Um, okay. Uh, next item is the pledge of allegiance. That's

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Okay. So before this meeting, we had a study session on the three items that are on the agenda. Uh we do have a stipulation on number three that was changed. If staff wants to read that into the record, please. Okay. So item number three, PDP step number eight, the Morrison building located at 1875 West Fry Road shall be vacated within 18 months of the date of certificate of occupancy for the new medical office building. The Morrison building shall be demolished within 24 months of certificate of occupancy unless a new parking solution is developed and submitted to the city for approval to accommodate the required parking for the Morrison building.

Chairman, just really quick, uh, I would like to take the moment to publicly recognize our planning team. Um, these quick meetings that we have, these like record-breaking short meetings, uh, don't even begin to describe the effort that's going on behind the scenes. So, uh, we are deep into our general plan 2026 update. We are right at the finish line of getting to council our downtown region area plan update. Uh we you just had a work session with our objective design standards, metal housing, uh and then all the zoning cases that are still going through like the hospital case tonight. Um our team is they're all if anybody's a Star Trek fan, my dad was a crazy Star Trek fan and so um they're all running at 110% on the reactor. Um and it's uh it is clearly not sustainable, but they have been killing it. Uh and to get to a point where something like the hospital case, not to diminish it, but it it doesn't feel very big compared to objective design standards, but to get that type of a case to the point that we're really just tweaking a number on a step is a pretty crazy feat. uh and then having objective design standards and we have a city planner who's been with us for only three years that is managing that entire objective design standard and zoning case. Um, I can't even begin to describe how much time David has spent and he has been our long range planning uh guru for two and a half coming up on three decades. And the amount of time that he has spent reading every page of that 60page draft code document and all of our uh the general plan update drafts um it's been this team is is cranking. Lauren has been just running our general plan update. Uh, and that seems like it's you got a project manager. It's it's like a one one woman show. Uh, her and Terry are just running this. Terry from our consultant side. So, our team

is is just it's amazing the amount of uh stuff that is being lifted and moved by this little team and very few people actually see it. So, been watching it for months in the last three months and the last three months of this year are going to be we get to breathe. Um, ta Taylor was reminding me that those things will just come off the plate and other things are going to go on them and she's probably 100% right, but um, this team has just been incredible. Um, I just want to highlight them and thank them. So, thank you.

And we appreciate your staff and stuff. I know I'm part of the general plan committee and all the work that Lauren's doing on that and all the different things are going on with the city. It seems like we haven't had a lot of meetings, but I know there's all this other stuff going on which is kind of crazy. And David did have a really good mentor in Hank Pluster who talked to him way back when before you had any kids, David. So anyway, we do appreciate our staff quite a bit and stuff. You guys do a good job. So we appreciate it. Any other comments from anybody? City attorney, anything tonight? Okay, with that we are ajourned. Oh, sorry.
