Public Safety Committee - Regular Meeting

Good afternoon. I'm going to call to order City of Joliet Board of Fire and Police Commissioners meeting. Today is Wednesday, 05/13/2026, 12PM. For the record, this is a special meeting. First up on our agenda is roll call. Chairman Adamowski. Here. Commissioner Coleman. Here. Commissioner Ponce. Here. Commissioner Strosia. Here. And commissioner Stefanski is here. Okay.

We do have a quorum. Before we get to the agenda items, I just wanted to highlight that today at 02:30PM, we will be taking a recess at which point for an hour and then coming back to reconvene at 03:30. With that said, the first item on the agenda is citizens to be heard. Is there anybody who would like to address the board? Seeing none, I would entertain a motion to go into closed session.

Is there a motion to go into closed session to discuss Jeremy Harrison pursuant to the appointment employment compensation discipline performance and dismissal of specific employees according to provisions of the open meetings act?
