All right, let's go. Mics's on. Mics on. Speak clearly into the microphone. We're going to call order the board of selectment agenda for Tuesday, February 17th. Um, first public comment. If there's anyone here from the public wants to speak on something that's not on the agenda, seeing none, uh, we have two public hearings tonight. And so we will announce the public hearing, open it, close it, have board discussions. The, um, first public hearing does not require any vote from the board. The second does. So, the first public hearing is pursuant to the Municipal Finance Act, NH RSA33 regarding a proposed $35,11 um note related to our um warrant article that will go before the town um for the Bow Junction um interconnect. My understanding, David, correct me if I'm wrong, the expectation is if we do proceed with that project and we do take out this uh loan, it is forgivable
in its entirety. Um, and so that's what this public hearing is about. So, I will open the public hearing. No one wants to speak. I'll close the public hearing. I'll make a motion. You don't need to make a motion. Okay. That's all we had to do there. Thank you. Yeah. Good. Okay. And then, okay, going on to the second one. We have two discretionary preservation easements that we have to hold um uh public hearings on. We'll combine the public hearings into one. It is for um some structures. I believe it's a blacksmith house and a barn
a barn on um the SOS property. This is something we have to do every couple years. Um we'll open the public hearing and then we can discuss a motion. uh as well as the assessed value to be abated which is what has happened in the past. So I'll open the public hearing. I will close the public hearing. I'll make a motion that we uh grant Please hold. I think we should do what we've been doing. Okay. That's that's my expectation as well. So um it's been at 75%. Yeah, we've taxed at a value of 75%. Okay.
All right. I'd like to make a motion to accept discretionary preservation easement per the provisions of RSA 79D for a term of 10 years on the following historical structure circa 1870 architectural barn tax map 33 block 2 lot 53. The property will be assessed during the term of the easement based on 75% of the full value assessment as provided by RSA 79D col 7. I'll second. Any further discussion hearing? None. All those in favor say I. I. I have 74. Nothing. Tanya.
And I'd like to go ahead and make a motion to accept a discretionary preservation easement per the provisions of RSA 79D for a term of 10 years on the following historical structure. Circa 1850 blacksmith shop tax map 33 block 2 lot 48. The property will be assessed during the term of the easement based on 75% of the full value assessment as provided by RSA 79D col. Any further discussion? Do we need a second? Second and seconded. Any further discussion? Hearing none. All those in favor say I. I. Eyes have it for nothing. All right. One more thing we got this morning from Cheryl. Utility billing warrant. Um, so we will be signing that.
I think we have to make a motion to approve it. I was going to say we need a motion to approve the utility billing warrant as presented. I'll make that motion. I'll second. Uh, all those in favor say I. I. Eyes have four nothing. Make a motion to adjurnn. Second. All those in favor say I. I. I. Four nothing. That's what we [laughter] are.
