With that word, I would like to call the this month's meeting of the LCC to order. And could we begin by taking role?
Sure. Supervisor Dulin. Dulin here. Supervisor Chawla.
Chawla here.
Supervisor Peters.
Present.
Supervisor Bruszik.
Here.
Supervisor Marion is excused.
Should be here at 05:30, right thereabouts.
Okay. And then supervisor Smith. But we have form.
Alright. Well, let's let's, move ahead with our business. And first up, our consideration of minutes. Any additions or corrections? If not, would someone care to move them?
Someone or Dulane moves to, approve.
Okay. Minutes of October 22 on the table. Those in favor, aye.
Aye.
And any opposed? Hearing none, that carries. We can go right on down to reports to committee. And what do we have here, Amy?
Sure. The first report we have is our approved contracts report. I'm just making this a little bit bigger so people can see it. These are all of the contracts that have been approved since our last meeting. If you go through there, a vast majority of them are cover crop contracts with some continuous cover and a few other practices mixed in.
All right. Does anybody have any questions or comments on the contracts? Alright. Then we can move along to payments.
This one a little bigger. These are the payments since our last meeting that have been approved. Cover crops are the big. Tis the season for cover crops. So, that's the primary payment that we've been working through.
Yeah.
Again, any questions or comments on payments? Okay. Well, we're on to talking about future meetings and dates. Looks like we'll have the joint meeting with all three committees on December 3, and we've got a long range meeting schedule attached. Any questions or comments about either of those?
Shared Downing, can you scroll to or to the top of this? So it's, LCC begin at 05:15. Einer begins at 05:30, and then Einer will start at 05:30 or when LCC adjourns, whatever is later. It might make sense to notice for, like, 05:05 so that we don't have to sit around for, like, ten minutes like we have waiting to start if that makes sense. Just a suggestion.
05:05. Okay. You think that would make the joint meeting run smoother?
Yeah. So suppose that LCC ends at not, like like, we're about to end at 05:20, let's say, right now. We'll have to wait till 05:30 legally before we can start Einar. But if we notice it at 05:20 or even 05:16, then whenever LCC ends, we will be legally able to call to order the Einar meeting.
Alright. Yogesh, what do you think about that?
Yeah. So I I would say we should leave it the way it is. And the reason is because if we have items on the agenda that the public's interested in, they might get here right at 05:15, and then that LCC could go along. Like, sometimes we get reports on, like, I don't know, crop damage or, like, venison shooting or, like there there's, like, different different obscure things that happen throughout the year, and we have to get some signatures on on certain things. So if we leave it at 05:30, the public knows, like, when they can come and testify and be here.
So even though it is like a little bit of an inconvenience, I think for the committees, I think it makes it easier on the public. But I I do think that's a good suggestion for like how we can make these more efficient. But in general, when LCC goes a little longer and there's more on the agenda, then, it's good to have a definitive start time for the public for ENA.
Anyone else comments on that idea? Well, unless I hear a a motion that we change the times, I'm I'm satisfied with leaving them as they are.
Yeah. I supervisor, Chabla's explanation makes sense, so, we can just leave it at that.
Okay. Yeah. That sounds good. We we have talked about it in the past and, like, you know, definitely, we should look at, like, when our triple joint meetings are and make sure we, you know, take those considerations into into play. But, yeah, I think we'd probably leave it as is for now and then adjust throughout the year as necessary.
Alright. Well, let's leave it as is. Moving on, do we have any public comment this evening?
None tonight.
Okay. Any other business? It looks like we have, seven minutes to, enjoy before, we start the EANR. Would anyone care to move to adjourn?
So moved by Dulane.
Alright. Those in favor, aye.
Aye.
Aye. We are adjourned, and we'll see you all in six minutes.
