Environmental Programs Committee - Regular Meeting

PUBLIC COMMENTS

This portion of the meeting is reserved for persons wishing to address the Committee on any matter not on the Agenda that is within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Committee. Approve Committee Minutes for the March 19, 2026, Meeting.

Recommendation: Staff recommends that the committee review and approve the meeting minutes for March 19, 2026. Description: Meeting Minutes for March 19, 2026

Earth Day 2026 Recap and Feedback

Recommendation: Staff recommends that the committee review the Earth Day recap and provide any helpful feedback to improve the event and its impact. Description: A standard event recap for the annual Earth Day Festival.

Spring Compost Workshop Recap and Fall Workshop Discussion

Recommendation: Staff recommend that the committee discuss the proposed workshop and provide and feedback to help shape the event on “Compost Where You Work”. Description: Recap of Compost workshop hosted with San Mateo County Office of Sustainability and discussion on a follow up workshop Fall 2026.

Spring and Fall programming related to Climate Action Plan Implementation

Recommendation: It is recommended that the Committee review, discuss and provide feedback on education and engagement activities for the CAP. Description: Discussion on the committee’s priorities for education and outreach related to the Climate Action Plan themes and goals.
