Kathleen Cuddy (Health) –

- Rural Health Residency started July 1 with Public Health rotation for the resident physicians during month of July Cooperative with Cayuga County Health Department, SUNY Upstate Medical University and Auburn Community Hospital - Hydrilla treatment on Cayuga Lake around Aurora, King Ferry and Genoa Cayuga County Health Dept. routinely tests public drinking water for the presence of the treatment chemicals. Brenda Wiemann (Office for the Aging) –

- OFA staff had community outreach tables at the Alzheimer’s Assoc mini-conference June 9th and at the Equal Rights Heritage Center Pride event June 13th, meeting older adults and caregivers out in the community. - The Senior Farmer’s Market Distribution starts on Wed. July 15th at the Fingerlakes Mall. Quantities are limited and distributions will be cancelled if demand exceeds supply. - NYSOFA Director, Greg Olsen, and the Executive Director of the Association on Aging, Becky Preve, will be guest presenters on August 25 at 1:00 at Bluefield Manor and later that same day at the Legislature meeting.

Authorize the Director of Public Health fill a Senior Public Health Educator position (Help Program) within the Health Department or authorize the legislature and the Public Health Director to create and fill a community outreach, education and partnership coordinator (Help Program) position or create and fill a Public Health Educator (Help Program) position within the Health Department

Authorize the filling of a full-time staff Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner position at the Community Mental Health Center

Authorizing The Chair of The Cayuga County Legislature to Create and The Director Of Community Services To Fill One Full-Time Office Manager (HELP Program).

Accepting New York State Office of Mental Health Funding for Awarded Suicide Prevention Grant

Accepting New York State Office of Mental Health Funding for Moravia-Based School Satellites

Authorizing the Commissioner of Social Services to fill 2 Clerk (Seasonal) Positions in the HEAP Unit of the Department of Social Services

Authorizing the Legislature to create and the Commissioner of Social Services to fill one (1) Human Services Examiner (HELP Program) position in the Department of Social Services.

To authorize the Chairman of the County Legislature and the Director of the Office for the Aging to accept additional funding from Meals on Wheels America and amend the Office for the Aging 2026 budget
