Bza Meeting - Regular Meeting

Board of Zoning and Building Court of Appeals is now called to order at 6.34 p.m. August 19th, 2026. I think I got that right. I ask the recording secretary to please call the roll for attendance of the members of the board.

And absent is Mr. Pallotta.

Also present from the Building Department is Zoning Inspector Chris Hall. And all persons in the audience are required to sign into the register sheet. If you have not done so already, please do so. If you wish to speak at this hearing, you will be required to be sworn in at the court hearing. We have no persons in the audience, so we're not gonna do the oath. This hearing will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Ohio Sunshine Law. The notice of the hearing was duly published in a newspaper of general circulation in the city of Macedonia. The notice is available for review upon request by the building department. The rules of the board require an affirmative vote of three members in order to pass regardless of the number of members present at the hearing. The hearing is conducted in an informal manner to review the evidence and to respond to questions. However, there is an outline of steps that will be taken in order. An appellate does not have to be present for the board to hear the case as published. Each case number and appeal request will be announced as its turn arrives. we have no first case um so we will move on uh at this point we are going to uh ask if everyone had an opportunity to review the minutes from the may 20th 26th meeting okay any questions about the minutes or concerns or All right. At this point, I would take a motion to accept the minutes. I'll make a motion to accept the minutes as published.
