7:43 – 8:34Speaker 5

I am Megan Phelan, assistant city manager, and I am here before you this afternoon to review our second quarter, but technically the first time you've seen a quarterly update. You may recall back in earlier this year in February, we had a day of council goal setting, which resulted in 21 initiatives under eight overarching goals. Staff came back to you later the following month with proposed work plans. And so we're here this afternoon to provide you with the first quarterly update, which is technically the second quarter, of how progress is moving forward on each of the initiatives. With me this evening are members of the executive team or city staff that are assigned to each of these initiatives. And so we're really here to answer any questions you might have about any of the progress we've been able to complete to date. With that, happy to take any questions.

8:35 – 8:50Speaker 2

Anyone have any questions on the goals? Looks good. Yeah, we appreciate the update and all the progress on all fronts. Obviously, lots of things going on, and all are doing a really good job. Yeah, no one has questions.

8:50Speaker 5

All right. Well, thank you, and we'll see you in the next quarter.

8:53Speaker 1

Thank you very much. And hopefully they'll all be done.

8:57Speaker 5

That's right. Close. Closer to being done, yes. Thank you.

9:01 – 9:14Speaker 2

Thank you so much. ALL RIGHT. THE CITY COUNCIL WILL NOW ENTER EXECUTIVE SESSION. I'LL ASK MR. TOYAN TO PLEASE READ THE STATUTORY BASIS FOR THAT SESSION. Thank you all for being here.

9:14 – 9:53Speaker 3

The Lake Oswego City Council will now meet in executive session under ORS 192.660 sub 2 sub i to review and evaluate the employment related performance of the chief executive officer of the public body who does not request an open hearing and subsection F to consider information or records that are exempt by law from public inspection. Representatives of the news media and designated staff shall be allowed to attend the executive session. All other members of the audience are asked to leave the room. Representatives of the news media are specifically directed not to report on any of the deliberations during the executive session, except to state the general subject of the session as previously announced. No final decisions will be made in executive session. At the end of the executive session, we will adjourn the meeting.

9:55Speaker 2

Thank you so much. We are going to recess and then we'll reconvene in the side room. This will conclude the broadcast portion of the meeting.
