6:473

We have a question.

6:480

Yes sir, Doctor. Coleman. Good to

6:50 – 7:103

see you today and everyone. So those bus stops, two parts. One, I know the lights and utilities for that, are they the ones that are covered? Is this for the lights that's going to be covered and kind of all the above and where we are with the covering of those various stops?

7:10 – 7:434

So what these shelters will have, they'll have an LED lighting system system that will be in there to provide lighting for people to feel safe whenever they're at the shelter and then also an LED display screen which will show the bus times of when the bus will arrive. This is all a part of that shelter process that we're doing. It's the reason why we have so many of them. This is a combination of the existing shelters that we had in town plus some additions that we were able to do with these 45 shelters we were able to get.

7:443

So with the 45 and the others would that be all 100% with shelters now with bus stops?

7:524

No. We've got about 140 approximately bus stops all over Sorry,

8:013

I didn't know that. That's good.

8:050

You. That's all I had. Do you have a question by anyone? I have a question. Yes. The lights are they be protected?

8:13 – 8:314

Yes, yes. That's one of the things that we've been working on is to find a system that was not only viable to use to provide the light but also that would be both safe to the public and also efficiently protect itself when it's in place.

8:330

And it's LED, like you said.

8:344

Yes, so and that the reason why I bring that up is because that's very low power usage on that.

8:41 – 8:563

So I have a follow-up with Doctor. Coleman. I think he asked a good question. Those screens, is that like a forgive me for my lack of knowledge, like a TV screen or something? And then it'll have bars in front? I mean.

8:56 – 9:254

No. It's it is similar but what it is, it's it is a for lack of a better way to explain it, it is a very large metal box and when I say metal, I mean it's thick encased metal that locks up. The wires run into it. All of the components are inside it. It also has ports for air and things like that to come through, fans that are built into it.

9:25 – 10:004

There's actually a heater in it as well. I know we don't get to those types of temperatures, but if it did drop low enough, it would actually turn a heat strip on that would heat the inside to keep the components from freezing up. It's just an all in one encased piece that has that protective shell around it. There's an LED screen, a display screen. It's similar to a TV, but it's not quite the same that is inside that. And then there's also casing on the outside of that LED screen that protects that screen in case anyone were to attempt to damage that in any way.

10:023

Good, thank you.

10:03 – 10:260

Any question by one in the general audience? Okay. If not, please cast your vote over twenty six zero twenty. I'm sorry, twenty six zero nineteen. That motion will forward to full council resolution.

10:26 – 11:470

12:191

We recommend to the full council.

12:210

Second. And motion second to recommend forward to the full council. Any comments or questions by anyone on the committee?

12:29 – 12:553

I have one. Yes, sir. This ATV, is that the same one as that other and you probably can answer this, but is that the one with the We just had one two or three years ago. Forget what you call it. Y'all know what I'm talking about? Well, you had the okay, so this is something different?

12:575

So this ATV is out of Craigford Forest.

13:016

This is

13:01 – 13:145

to give emergency access to the trails if in event something happened. So the improvement work is really to improve some of the water drainage and to make sure that the EMTs have access to the entire park in the event something unfortunate happened.

13:153

Gotcha. Something different. Gotcha.

13:17 – 13:430

Thank you, Jim. Any other questions about anyone on the committee? Anyone in attendance or staff? If not, please cast your ballot. Okay. That looks like that will be forwarded to full counsel. Next item is pending items. I know of none. Other business? Anyone have any other business for the committee?

13:44 – 14:136

I don't know if it fits into public works, why not? Brian, I e mailed you on this and I realized I think I e mailed your old e mail address and it popped back and I didn't ever send it to the right e mail address. I copied Darryl on it. Back in the old days, we used to like look at permits and how many permits from the previous year and what was the volume of the permits on commercial and residential. And I felt like we hadn't done that. I felt like the media used to do that. I don't feel like they do that anymore either. So I think it'd be great if y'all could do that for us every six months or something or another so that we had that.

14:15 – 14:327

Yeah, sure, we can especially now that all that stuff goes into project docs and we can pretty easily pull a report and there will be some statistics presented later at State of the City that also cover some of those from last year. We can put that report together.

14:34 – 14:510

All Any other business by anyone? If not, next item is public comments. Any comments from anyone in the public on anything that was not on the agenda today? Greg?

14:55 – 15:172

In answer to Mr. Bryant's question, the Matrix Group who's been doing our study of our permitting process, they've compiled a lot of that information for the last three years They're planning to give a presentation sometime in early April to city council. So you will get that information for the last three years.

15:190

Thank Any other comments by anyone in the public? If not, next item is adjournment.

15:283
