The last major renovation on our list was to redo the kitchen and bathroom of the 80s. When we got married and decided to found a family, we wondered if we should stay in our current house to do the work or move out. We waited to make this decision until the publication of the renderings of the future stadium and to have more clarity on the city's intentions for this space. Even if the bees were going to miss us as neighbors, we were delighted to see that these changes included as much community green space and a library at our doorstep. and it is something that is cruelly missing in our neighborhood. Our street is calm and it is an ideal place to raise a family because of its unique situation in the impasse on the stadium. We decided to stay, by relying largely on the plans that had been presented. We contracted an important loan to make the improvements and renovations necessary. We could have spent much less to simply modernize the aspect and sell, but we chose to invest in our future home to honor the history of this house from 1909. We replaced the old electrical wiring and added reversible air conditioning systems.
