An Ordinance to authorize the establishment of a personalized handicapped parking space for Sonya Abney, 851 Bond Street, Elizabeth, New Jersey.

An Ordinance to authorize the establishment of a personalized handicapped parking space for Martha Negrin, 317 Pennington Street, Elizabeth, New Jersey.

An Ordinance to authorize the establishment of a personalized handicapped parking space for Kairo Contes, 142 Port Avenue, Elizabeth, New Jersey.

An Ordinance to rescind Ordinance No. 5380, adopted on October 27, 2020, which authorized the establishment of a personalized handicapped parking space for Donald Noon, 35 Delaware Street, Elizabeth, New Jersey.

An Ordinance to rescind Ordinance No. 4271, adopted on January 10, 2012, which authorized the establishment of a personalized handicapped parking space for Melba Almodovar, 439 First Avenue, Elizabeth, New Jersey.

An Ordinance to rescind Ordinance No. 5309, adopted on February 25, 2020, which authorized the establishment of a personalized handicapped parking space for Hector Rodriguez, 523 Franklin Street, Elizabeth, New Jersey.

Letter dated February 10, 2026, from the Business Administrator recommending awarding a contract to Power Place, Inc., 297 Route 22 East, Whitehouse, NJ, for the purchase of ground equipment, equipment options, attachments, accessories, parts and repairs for the period of February 4, 2026, through August 31, 2026, at a cost not to exceed $100,000.00.

Letter dated February 10, 2026, from the Business Administrator requests authorizing the proper City officials to participate in the Educational Services Commission Co-op of NJ, with Eastern DataComm, LLC, 44 Commerce Way, Hackensack, NJ, for the purchase of cabling for various departments throughout the City for the period July 27, 2025, through March 31, 2026, in the amount not to exceed $100,000.00, in addition, to authorizing the proper City officials to execute all documents in connection with this request.

Letter dated February 10, 2026, from the Business Administrator recommending awarding a contract to American Hose & Hydraulics Co., P.O. Box 440, Elmwood Park, NJ, for the purchase of OEM and Non-OEM maintenance and repair services for light and medium duty vehicles for various departments for the period of February 2, 2026, through February 2, 2029, at a cost not to exceed $150,000.00.

Letter dated February 10, 2026, from the Business Administrator recommending awarding a contract to First Independent Auto Repair Services, LLC, 410 E. Westfield Avenue, Roselle Park, NJ, for the purchase of OEM and Non-OEM maintenance and repair services for light and medium duty vehicles for various departments for the period of February 2, 2026, through February 2, 2029, at a cost not to exceed $150,000.00.

Letter dated February 13, 2026, from the Business Administrator requests authorization for the proper City officials to apply, accept and sign all appropriate documents for the Urban Enterprise Zone (UEZ) Julian Place and Railroad Place Streetscape Improvement Project in an amount not to exceed the total UEZ requested amount of $236,890.00, in addition, to authorizing the proper City officials to enter into an agreement with the Elizabeth Development Company (EDC) for the administration of UEZ funding pertaining to the Urban Enterprise Zone Julian Place and Railroad Place Streetscape Improvement Project.

Amend resolution adopted December 23, 2025, awarding a contract with Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey for the City of Elizabeth’s Healthcare Benefit Coverage for all City of Elizabeth Employees and Retirees for the period January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026, for an amount not to exceed $5,500,000.00, specifically to amend the amount for a new contract amount not to exceed $20,500,000.00.

Amend resolution adopted February 11, 2025, awarding a contract with Lum, Drasco & Positan, LLC, 103 Eisenhower Parkway, Roseland, N.J., to provide Employment Counsel Services for the City of Elizabeth for the period March 1, 2025 through February 28, 2026, for a total cost not to exceed $60,000.00, specifically to extend the contact period through May 31, 2026 and to increase the total amount of the contract not to exceed $100,000.00.
