Planning Commission - Regular Meeting

Okay, I have four o'clock. So, we'll call this regular meeting of the Bedford Planning Commission together. And uh the first item of business is the approval of minutes of the February 10th regular meeting and the March 24th special meeting. I'd like to introduce a motion to approve the minutes from both meetings as printed. I have a motion. And I have a couple seconds. Any question? Hearing none. All in favor say I. I.

Those opposed? No. The motion passes. Old business is a public hearing for K&J Investments who is requesting to reszone property they own on John Williams Boulevard at Limestone Drive. The property is 5.620 acres parcel and got a normal number there currently zoned I2 and they wish to reszone it as B3 and um this is a public hearing and uh can you see that Bob? Yes sir I can. Bob welcome to the meeting. Uh, hey, thank you. Do you have anything to tell us from our previous meeting as to what's happening here?

Um, I have no no new news. Still, the reasoning of that would be for the development of a uh or the building of a Del Taco restaurant right there on that uh on the corner, okay, of that particular parcel. Okay. Is there anyone here from the public that wishes to speak for or against this? Any members of the commission that has has any questions for this gentleman or for Mr. Sinclair? When if it's approved, when are you planning to start building?

Uh well, if it was up to Mr. Sinclair, we'd be started yesterday probably. Well, we would like as soon as everything is approved and uh I know we are into the state of Indiana for our construction design release. As soon as that's done and uh Bedford issues the building permit and of course as long as we pass here to get our zoning taken care of, we would like to start right away. Well, that's great. Sounds good. Sounds good. Anyone else have any questions? Kevin, I know you sent out some notices. Any feedback of anybody? Yeah, I sent out four or five to all the surroundings and across the road and no word back from anybody. Heard nothing from anyone.

At least we will be having a meeting next month for sure. Uh there's a some tiff stuff to be discussed. There's a what tiff the tiff districts some of that making some tweaking some of that. So we will be having a meeting at least on that next month. Okay. All right. All right. That'll be our May meeting. All right. Anything new coming to town you can tell us about? Nothing confirmed.

Okay. Looks to me like uh Geoflow is has pretty well got their property leveled off ready to do something. Okay. Yep. I think that's in the works. I'm not sure what's delay. It looks better.
