Any announcements? Madam President.

3:28 – 3:453

Just a reminder that next week on Monday, the city is closed for Memorial Day, which means city council is not meeting, which means none of our committees are not meeting. This meeting is not meeting. So we have a week off. So just wanna say we'll see you the following week.

3:462

if you missed us. It's totally possible. You need

3:502

your friends. We're always on. Elsewhere I'll be dressed.

3:53 – 4:121

Thank you. I just wanna say thank you to the mayor's bicycle advocacy committee. We had a great District 7 bike ride this weekend, and remembering Memorial Day. Also, happy birthday to my son, Alejandro. I love you so much. I'm so proud of you. He's gonna be 11 this week, and we won't have council. I'm glad I got the opportunity to wish him a happy birthday.

4:124

Happy birthday. I have

4:152

Other announcements. Yes. Madam Pro Temp.

4:17 – 4:410

Thank you. We have a celebration happening for the Wilshire Golf Course. It's turning a 100 years old. This is pretty exciting. It started out as a private course and became the only public course designed by this designer, Donald Ross, West Of The Mississippi. Big deal. I don't play golf. I'm learning that this is a very

4:412

big deal.

4:42 – 5:000

And I had some trivia last night. I don't have a new trivia question, but I'll ask it again so you can't answer. But for the audience or or actually for you, what is the iconic Denver landmark that can be seen from the 8th Green at the Wellshire? Easy.

5:033

It's on the spine.

5:050

No. Red Rocks.

5:072

Really? Yeah.

5:073

You can do Red Rocks.

5:09 – 5:400

Anyway, we are doing a big community celebration on Bang. I was gonna gone. We are gonna do a big celebration on Friday, June 5. There is a golf tournament in the morning. Thank you to those council members that are able to join us, and we are gonna do a community celebration in the evening from five to 8PM at the Wilshire Inn. Go online and register to attend. We're taking RSVPs. It'll be a nice time to be able to walk around the Wilshire Inn. Great. Thank you.

5:402

Council Watson.

5:41 – 6:004

Thank you, mister mayor and council president. Two quick announcements. I I gave this announcement last time, and I thought it was important to do it again today. Judge Andre Rudolph, we lost him over the weekend. We spoke with several folks from the city attorney's office and from the the county courts that are struggling this week.

6:00 – 6:364

And so to all the friends, family, and those that loved judge Rudolph, we in community know the importance, role that he played as a leader in our community. We send our condolences and our heartfelt thanks to all the good work that he has done. And to those that are dealing with this today, just know that we in the city, we respect the work that you do and that we're here to provide whatever support folks need. Also, weekend, we support Memorial Day. It's an important day for for folks like us who, like me, my family.

6:36 – 7:064

I have a military family. My older brother, Darren Watson, we call him doc because he solved everyone's problems. He died in in in in in in service of of this country during Desert Storm many, many, many years ago, but just always wanted to make sure for those families that are spending this weekend thinking about their loved ones, know that the city county of Denver supports them and support our military families. Thank you, mister mayor.

7:06 – 7:382

Thank you, councilman. Madam president. Any other announcements this morning? Great. I would just share your recognition council Watson. Andre has been a friend of mine for twenty years, so it's a deep personal loss for me and for many of folks who've served close to him. I've checked in with those folks on the bench and others who I think are having a very hard time. So appreciate you when you see them, thanking them, celebrating them. They are humans too behind those rooms who lost a really good friend this weekend, and so thank you for your celebration and recognition of them. Okay.

7:39 – 7:592

Any other announcements before we go? Alright. I will now entertain a motion to enter executive session pursuant to DRMC two three four a sections three, four, six, and seven for the discussion of pending litigation against the city and for the discussion of the utilization of real estate by the city.

7:590

So moved. Second.

8:00 – 8:112

All those in favor? Aye. Any opposed? Great. With that, we will enter executive session. Thank you so much to members of public for joining. Have a great Memorial Day. We know you'll miss us. We will see you when you come back.
