I have two things. Um the planning board is going to open uh hold an open house for the public for the scheduled master plan revisions. um anybody from the public can come can give their input, give their concerns, their suggestions as we prepare the updates to our township master plan. Second thing is the Milstone seniors. I want to wish a very happy 90th birthday to our Milstone senior president, Margaret Patterson. Um last Tuesday we had a 90th birthday party for her in the community center. And I want to thank Kevin. Kevin actually got um a gentleman to come out um from town. Joe was his name. No, Mr. Timothy Oso.
Mr. Timothy Oso came out and um he played the recorder and he sang for them and he told all kinds of stories and they had a great time. Good. That's fantastic. Yeah, that's awesome. Happy birthday. Y can we just go Do you have the date for the planning board or not yet? Yeah, you give us Did you um Yes, it is May 13th, I believe, but let me just double check. I'm positive it's May 13th. Yes, May 13th. Awesome. Eric, you have something about the spring cleanup coming up? I do. Hang on a second. Mr. Morris, do you have anything? No, I do not. All right, give me one second. I have to bring this back up. All right, I'll
I can reiterate one thing, though. why you're looking for that. And I said this the last meeting uh in regards to the playing fields um that there's going to be some level of rotation, some level of of of moving some programs around to try to um prolong and preserve some of the turf. Um there's been a lot of complaints about it. So, one way we can is to make sure that we're using them uh appropriately and not too often. I mean, we had three 80 degree days and everyone wanted to be out there and it's fantastic and we want to promote that, but at the same time, you know, the next four days after that was 40 degrees and we don't want to, you know, have have any issues. So, it would be a shortterm temporary uh potential issue that where you normally would play or practice may have to get shuffled around. Um, and and the whole spirit of this is to preserve uh what we can while we try to figure out what's the best way to uh provide the the playing fields for the actual games when the season's. So, if the the community can just bear with us a little bit while we work through this um and figure out what's going to be the best approach for us.
Awesome. Thank you. Thank you. Uh, yes. Our annual stream cleanup will be April 18th, starting at 9:00 a.m. 9:00 a.m. We meet right here at the building here at 9:00 a.m. and we go back and pick spots for stream bed cleanup. We're looking uh for a good turnout. So, please check the township website to register and uh help keep Millstone clean. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
Uh we met with OEM uh Monday night. Everything seems to be good. We're on top of uh of what's going on as far as our emergency operations plan and uh we're we're uh submitting to and dotting our eyes and crossing our tees with mock uh simulations with the uh M system. So we're all good on that end. uh the veterans uh should be now consolidating and coming up with a good plan for for Memorial Day uh event and the parade. So, we'll give you more about that as it gets closer to the uh to the event. Uh with that, we'll go to new business. Uh curbside cleanup is going to commence on Monday, April 6th, uh finishing April 10th. Maximum lap per household are is 5 by 5 by 5 foot and should be placed at curbside no later than 6:00 a.m. Monday morning, April 6th, 2026. Uh please, there are a list of uh many items that are not to be picked up like appliances, refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, dryers, etc. Anything weighing over 100 pounds uh will not be picked up. Please go to our website to see the list of things that are not to be picked up by uh the bulk pickup from April 6th to April 10th. Saturday only drop off dates uh will be April 18th, April 25th, May 2nd, and May 9th. Hours of operation are going to be 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Location is 15 B Road across from Wagnaf Park. Uh please, if you're going to send somebody there to uh to drop stuff off, they need to get a cert permit or a uh some sort of card from our division of of public works. So this way that person could drop it off legally at our brush
drop off. It it actually comes from the clerk's office. The clerk's office. So if you have a landscaper or something like that, you know, you send them down there and we'll give them they get the little voucher. All right. Very good. So So this way you don't have commercial guys, you know, without Right. All right. Also, the uh the tire pickup program uh by the county uh will end March 31st. So if you have any tires without rims, uh please call 732-542-3630 to make arrangements for pickup. Okay. In addition to that, uh, we have recycling dates for 2026. March 21st will be upper freehold. It's, excuse me, it's paper shredding, not recycling.
I'm sorry. Paper shredding. Thank you. Paper shredding. And it's right in front of me, too. Uh, we'll be on March 21st at Upper Freehole Township. Location is 314 Route 539 in Cambridge. In addition to that, on August 22nd in Englishtown at 15 Main Street at the their municipal building will be a paper shredding group. Okay. Any old business?
Yeah, I have a couple comments. So, you know, everybody is uh concerned about the roads and the potholes and all these kind of things. So, we've over the last couple days, as you may noticed, we have two different crews of Earl out there milling and paving. Um, and it it's an inconvenience for some people, but we get a better deal by putting a lot of these projects together and try to bang it out at the same time. So, uh, it'll last about another week, you know, like tomorrow if anybody Well, I don't need to go through. I sent out if you get a Nixo alert, you should be able to see when the roads are going to be closed, mil and paved. Um, I I apologize to uh Andrea CC from the transportation with the buses because they've been trying to work around their schedule, but it doesn't always work. So, the residents have been getting some notes and please move your part uh pickup spot to this one or that one and it's it's been going along. So, yesterday we had that at the same time as three telephone poles down in Witches Hollow blocking off the whole neighborhood. Um, so these things are inconvenience, but uh you you got to let the EMS or the contractors and the JCPNL do their thing. So, um, hope hopefully when it's all said and done, you'll be happy with the roads being paved and we'll deal with it.
It's just a little blurb to get something more. And I got a lot of calls, people still begging for their roads to be done. Why aren't we getting done? So, I've uh I think we're doing a pretty good job of prioritizing and we'll continue to. Very good. Thank you. Okay. Any any other openness from anybody? Any comments from the DES? All right. At this juncture, I'd like to open it up to the public at 8:26. Seeing that there is nobody here present, I'd like to close it to the public at 8:26. Thank you. Do I have a motion to adjurnn? I'll make it. Thank you. Second, please.
I'll second it. Thank you. All in favor? I. Time out. 8:26. Okay.
