Consider and Act on a Resolution appointing members to various positions on the Parks and Recreation Board/ Keep Lake Dallas Beautiful Committee. The Parks and Recreation Board / Keep Lake Dallas Beautiful Committee has been inactive for several years. City Council wishes to reinstate the Board/Committee as a seven (7)-member body with two (2) alternates. Seven positions are currently vacant.

Receive the Lake Dallas Police Department’s Annual Compliance Report Regarding Racial Profiling required by Texas Code of Criminal Procedure Section 2.134.

Receive the Lake Dallas Police Department's Annual Compliance Report Regarding Racial Profiling required by Texas Code of Criminal Procedure Section 2.134. The Texas Code of Criminal Procedure Articles 2.132-2.134 require the chief administrator of the agency, regardless of whether the administrator is elected, employed, or appointed, to submit an annual report to the governing body of each county or municipality served by the agency, if the agency is an agency of a county, municipality, or other political subdivision of the state.

Conduct a closed meeting pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.074 to deliberate on the appointment of people to the Lake Dallas Parks and Recreation Board/ Keep Lake Dallas Beautiful Committee.

Discuss and take appropriate action, if any, resulting from the discussions conducted in Closed Session.
