Herman here. Young here. Thank you. uh like uh to move on to item three which is approval of minutes from the April 9th meeting. Move to approve the minutes as circulated. Second. Move and seconded. All those in favor? Yes. Yes. Against extensions. Those minutes have been approved. Uh for the record clerk, could you add Mr. Felman now he has returned to the meeting? Present. Finance director's report. Thank you, Mr. Barack. Uh, nothing to report this evening, but I'd be happy to answer any questions.

Any questions for the finance director? Seeing none, we'll move on to item business items this evening. Um, item A, which is Mr. Jones. Thank you, Mr. Baron. Uh, we are requesting to add additional funds for the design services with Kimley Horn for the Homewood store improvement project. The additional funds are needed for wetland delineation and potential permitting with the US Army Corps of Engineers and AA EPA. Be happy to answer any questions. Any questions for Mr. Jones? Seeing none, do I have a motion to move this on the council agenda this? So moved. Second.

Move and seconded. All those in favor? Yes. Against? Abstensions. That gets moved on to business item night. Now we have item B, which is just a motion for finance committee. Mr. Ren.

Uh, yes. Mr. had to leave, but I'll be more than happy to answer any questions. This is finally for the Heritage House. Um did find through our uh research as we went along and with the STO historical society, most of it cannot be saved. Okay. Uh we're going to look at taking out uh timber and different things like that to reestablish it, but even the basement is going to have to really be done if we're going to have proper building. So, this is just for the architectural piece of it. Impartial uh payment will also go through uh insurance. So, again, we're on that right path. It'll happen this year. Uh like I said, but this is where we're at. Um it was also to add uh as we talked with the historical society keeping a second floor and so forth like that, but only for use of storage. So, that's where we're at and that's why we're Any questions for Mel?

Thank you, Mr. Bick. So, um, we've waited a long enough time on this, Mr. Mayor, and I get it. I I'm so glad we are finally moving. Um, actually had a father and son resident last week who was complaining about this and I said, "Hey, it's on the way." Um, but my question is the timeline and I read the maybe it's asked and answered. The estimated project schedule and budget are preliminary and subject to change. So, we can't really say when it's going to be done, right?

It will be started this year and hopefully completed this year. According to uh a couple of the contractors that we've spoken to, uh this is not a hard job. uh it makes it harder. It makes it a lot harder and even with insurance wise, it makes a lot harder if we're going to try to rehabilitate the building. Okay, this here the building will look exactly the same on the outside. So, it'll be exactly the same. Um that's why we didn't get a lot of per se or any serious bids uh coming forth because there was too much unknown in the building itself. Okay. So this is the case uh historical society is happy with this resolve and like I said it will allow us to go ahead and rebuild that and also too we're also dealing with insurance and also being dealing with unknowns when we were going to rehabilitate a building. So this here puts us on a clear path. Uh they were saying two to three months they could have that thing up and done.

So let me uncomplicate it real quick. Mr. Back. Excuse me. So, we're rebuilding the building, saving what we can from the inside, making it look historic, but it's going to be a new building that's ADA accessible. Yes. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. That's part of the whole thing. So, that's the reason why the second floor will not be being used because we would need to go and put an elevator in. I got So, that changes the whole dynamic. Thank you. Thanks, Mr. B. Miss C. And in speaking with one of the um members of the historical society, there will be additional amendments to the architectural plans. Correct.

Okay. Thank you. And thank you for working with them and thank you for getting this done because I agree we're we're all ready for this. Yeah, I think everybody is. Um actually, I will probably abstain from the motion since I sit on the C board. So, uh, but I'm in, you know, in favor of it. I know there were some concerns also that were expressed by some of the other board members on the historical society about, you know, the architectural firm and that and I think taking them into consideration and moving forward and getting it completed as soon as we can would be great. Got it. Okay. I have to make a motion that we um hire Moses Brett, DBA, MXA architecture in the amount of $46,200 for professional services for the Heritage Museum. So second. Yeah. Move and second. Uh I really don't see that have anybody in the public uh agenda. So uh could I have a motion to adjurnn?
