Aye. Mr. Evans? Aye. Mr. Salsco? Aye.
Mr. Miller? Aye. Thank you very much. Have you received any public comments, either through emails, the office, or by phone? No, we have nothing to report. Thank you very much. If there's anyone here to speak later, then we'll do the oath at that time. In the meantime, may I please have a motion for the consent calendar?
I will make a motion to approve on the consent calendar items A through G. That's LIQ 2026-00049-00064-6568. and 7-0, as well as MBL 2026-00007 and-00008. Thank you. May I please have... Would you please call for... How about a second?
Oh, sorry. Thank you. A second would be... A second. Thank you. Would you please call for the vote? Mr. Evans. Aye.
Mr. Stossel. Aye. Mr. Koss. Aye.
Mr. Higgins.
All right.
Ms. Traylor. Aye. Thank you very much. And for public hearings, we have the first one, LAQ202600066, quick trip number 4262. I understand this is a boundary presentation. Yes, ma'am. All the public hearings tonight will be boundary presentations.
We have two. So this is the first one. And just a real quick brief for you. As you said, quick trip 4262. So this is just the boundary approval for the needs and desires that will be required before the final hearing. Quick background, FMB and wine retail license application, completed packet, fees are paid, and everything you're going to see tonight involving the maps and wine and documentation are provided by the Adams County GIS team. As you can see, the location is 7320 North Fecal Street. It is a new build, so it has to go through this process, and we provide them all this information for the needs and desires. It will be required to complete the build out, get the occupancy from the building department before there are certain portions of the application that we try during licensing for the completed packet. We anticipate using the final hearing around December, but it will depend on the construction. So as you can see, you've got Pico Street to the parcel to the west side, and then the Boulder Turnpike 36 is on the north side. What you're seeing on there, obviously, is an old picture of the facility that used to be there. Kind of a restaurant-tavern type of building in the middle, and then the hotel around the backside. That's all been demolished. And then the supporting documentation and the maps from GIS. With, of course, the related boundary. What is this? What is your residential? What is your mixed? It will be mixed. There are quite a few businesses in there. There's other gas stations, caverns, restaurants, fast food. There's a grocery store, the Los Almanza. And then quite a substantial portion of residential as well. Thank you. So all of these businesses are at least insured. So the corridor, the Pecos corridor, they're on the south side of the Mulder Turnpike and the north side. And then, as you can see, there's businesses in the branch to the right on the north side of the boulder turnpike that's going to be on port test street and that's where you've got some other businesses that you guys oversee the barbecues now the schmidt tavern all the way over is an old turnpike liquor there is a marijuana facility in there great scotts eatery bulky dog sports cafe so you've got mixed business along the frontage road area as well that is all I have for the boundaries for the new QuickTrip application.
Thank you, Mr. Slattery. Just before we have any questions, would you like to have them to receive and proceed? Yes.
Yeah, just you're voting on approving these boundaries so that we can provide these to the applicants so they can go and start doing the door knocking.
Thank you. May I have a motion for that, please?
Yes. Make a motion to approve area number OIQ 206-00066 when I expand on the boundaries. I'll second. Thank you, Mr. Combs. Mr. Combs? Aye. Mr. Evans? Aye. Mr. Hagerty? Aye. Mr. Stumskill? Aye. Sorry, did I do that out of order? It's all right. And Ms. Hagerty?
Aye. Thank you very much. I was listening, and then I confused the voices. We are ready for LIQ2026-00067. Dr. Olasko-Binkos?
All right. So this will be your second opening presentation. The same as the last, boundary approval based on your vote. It's a new application. This one is for a hotel and restaurant license type. Completed application, fees paid. It will be operated as a Mexican restaurant. you can see that you've got I-25 to the west side. It's on 15th Avenue. It is relative to where the Denver Merchandise Mart is. I believe this building previously was Taco John's. Yeah. So this is the location. And then, again, everything provided by the GIS section, the related maps, parcels, and boundaries. This one, being that it's a little bit different, a little bit more industrial, they have a 1.5 mile buffer on this particular application just to make sure that there's appropriate areas for businesses and residential needs and desires. if you're familiar with the area there are some businesses on the west side and the east side of I-25 along 58th and along Washington you do have some other establishments in the related area that you see as your board for your jurisdiction Balmerinos Hilltop Grocery on that property there is additionally a liquor store You've got a couple other liquor stores in the area. The Comfort Inn Hotel to the north side of this parcel does have a liquor license as well. On the west side of the interstate, you've got a Circle K. And then along the area, you've got Grisby Rose a little bit further down the interstate. You do have some marijuana facilities on the east and west side in here as well. So it is an area that is definitely within your jurisdiction and has a lot of related business in there as well. Can you go back to that map again? This is random. What's the blue line? The blue, what's that called? It's not a rectangle. They list that as neighborhoods. I'm not exactly sure what the definition of the GI section is of a neighborhood. I'm just curious. I guess. I believe there are other jurisdictions within the boundary and your jurisdiction is within the blue line. Because as I look through it, I can tell by some of the southern portions of where the lines jockey around that those actually are Denver. Yeah. And so I believe when it says neighborhood, that just is reflecting to the fact that it's your jurisdiction nearby. Yeah, maybe, is it that Mapleton neighborhood? Is that what that, or is it, it's right in the middle of that? Yeah, that's what I'm thinking of. Yeah, I know that. Well, your implication of Mapleton, I'm not sure what I think. Is it? Yeah. Okay, cool. I was just curious. No, and actually, that's a good point. I'll do a little bit of research to see if I can better understand. Obviously, it's identifying the impasse, the Mapleton neighborhood. Right. but I'll talk to the GIS folks and just kind of get a little bit of an education so I better understand what some things mean, because those are some good points, and I should have a little bit more knowledge on that. man 2 in audience Okay. Yeah, I was just curious.
Yeah.
I work right over there, so a lot of industrial, a lot of industrial space, a lot of industrial warehouses and buildings where you're not going to really have that many doors. But it's the thing, there's not a lot of, not a lot of houses. Yeah. Yeah, especially up there. Wasn't some of those neighborhoods, you know, in the last few decades that didn't suspect they're kind of been eaten up and bolted down and changed over to, you know, other types of use and such? Yeah. Oh, sorry. I was just curious. I didn't notice the blue line before. I was like, oh, that's quite all right.
Anyone else have any questions they'd like to ask? No, none. Great. May I have a motion, then, please?
I will make a motion to approve OIQ 2026-00067. Okay, we will be... Give me a second.
Thank you. We will be voting on... Accepting the boundaries as is and proceeding with the GIS folks on this motion. Letters, please. Thank you. I can please call for the vote. Mr. Evans. Aye. Mr. Stossel. Aye. Mr. Klaus. Aye. Mr. Hageny. Aye. Mr. Allen. Aye. Thank you very much. I have the next date for the next meeting is October 21st. Is that correct? Yes, that's correct.
yes on the 21st for the next hearing and then just an FYI and I'll remind you moving forward there will not be a hearing in November due to construction the EDA upgrades that are happening in the hearing room here as you can see it's already started but it'll be a lot different moving forward so then we will have an October 21st hearing and then we will have that hearing then determine the next one which should be in December but I just need to verify it for them at that point Okay.
Does anyone else have any business to bring you to the board at this time? No? Mr. Haggerty? I'll make a motion that we're done. Thank you. Would you please call for a second? I don't know what my issue is. I just didn't have. I'm at least not consistent. Would you please call for the vote then after the second?
Aye. Mr. Evans? Aye. Mr. Cost? Aye. Mr. Stosko? Aye. Ms. Raylor? Aye. Thank you. Can I get a second?
Can I get a second?
