Second. It's properly moved and second to approve the minutes for November 2nd. All in favor? I. All oppose. Motion carries. Business administrators report, Miss Brunicki. Good afternoon.
Good afternoon. For this month, our account payable was 46,573. Our payrolls, which we had two this month, uh totaled $114,38765 cents, taking our total accounts payable with payroll to $160,960.95.
Diana, the only thing is is that the dates on this is wrong. It says the 4th of November. for what we have to sign for the total. Yeah, it does. I've never Doug's signature says 121 of 25, but up top it says November 4th.
Okay. On the back one it does say November 26. I think that we had a mishap because of the holidays because I didn't even get my report until Monday. So, should we brush this out? And that's what I would do. I would just put an X through and then write down. Yeah. Today's date. I always check the U amounts to make sure they match, but I didn't look at the date this time. Okay.
Just wanted to make cuz with us signing this and the the back page two I'm going to make December. That's fine. Is there any questions for Miss Bernicki? What did you change it to today's date? When am I changing
the uh page for employee uh payroll details to December 1st and not November 10th. And then the total for accounts payables. the total amount the sign the sheet that we all signed change that to December 1st. And then I I had a question on um the uh key purchase for on it's on page three. I should have changed. Yes.
239 uh or I'm sorry 53925. Yes. Yes. What was that for? The 2000 or both of them? The 2003 7312. That was for David Ikes to go to one of the conferences. Oh. When he went to the uh parks to the national. Yes. Okay. There that I know now. And what what was the training for? Do you
The training was for uh our civic wreck because nobody knew how to get into it. and they wanted to start using it. So, we paid the 375 and did a virtual between it and recreation. Kyle and Michael B. They all got trained on that. And what was that again? It's called civic wreck. It's where they go in and they can reserve and pay online that whole software program. They had never been trained in it. Okay. Thank you. Okay. Thank you. Thank you.
Okay. Any more questions for Miss Bernick? Nope. If not, may I receive a motion to accept? I'll make that motion. I did forget something. Okay. I brought with me a flyer that the breakfast with Santa was actually December the 13th from 8 to 10, IHOP will be coming in and serving pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon. Oh, IHOP. And they're doing it. They're sponsoring it, so it doesn't cost them. There'll also be games and some activities and story time with Santa.
December 13th from 8 a.m. till 10 a.m. Yes. At the Ger. And if you would like, I can scan this and send it to everybody. That would be good if you would please. All righty. Other than that, I don't know. Thank you so much. I'll second the motion. Okay. It's been properly moved and second to accept the financials for November, well, December 1st. All in favor? I
I All oppose. Motion carries. All right. Next on the agenda is uh Rachel Johnson, the pro shop manager. Hi. As far as November, we don't have um a whole lot to report on considering that golf season was pretty much over. I think our last round played at Graanby was two days before Thanksgiving and then um the cold weather hit us so everything dropped. Yes.
Okay. Um do you want to talk to us about the golf prices now? Um let's see. It's under It's under action items. Why don't we have you come back up when that happens? Any questions for Miss Johnson? Nope. Thank you. Can take it easy for a few months before the madness comes. Start getting all your uh what do they call tournaments together? Yeah. Our our schedule's filling up quickly. Good. All right. All right. Next on the agenda is Mr. Tom Tackets, maintenance superintendent.
Speech. Speech. Thank you, sir. Much appreciated.
Good evening, Madam Chairman and board. Got a couple things for you. Um, first of all, on projects uh at Warren Miller Park, construction of the new restrooms at Warren Miller have commenced. Uh, the old restrooms have been demoed. New footers have been dug and are poured for the new restrooms. And the concrete block has been laid from the footers to the floor level. and we are now ready to rough in the plumbing and electrical underground. So, we've moving along pretty good so far, especially in this weather. This is going to delay us a few days, but not not nothing severe. Secondly, at Dickman Town Center and there on Meridian, we are ready to go at Dickman. Um the setup is complete for the holiday festivities. the uh ice rink we opened up at on the 20 28th of f Friday. Uh open for Thanksgiving holiday and it's going well. Uh was well attended uh during the holiday. A little light right now with the weather like this. They come and go, but don't stay in, you know, on the rink very long, but we do we do have some a few.
Um they're out there right now. They're out there right did you check them out? They're out there now. Good. uh flower baskets have been but were hung on the 22nd. So those were all in place and uh we're just busy with other things. So it's looking very nice. Yeah. Thank you. So that's about it for tonight. Uh other than that, happy holidays and if you got any questions, I'd be glad to Thank you, Tom. Cover it. Thanks, Tom. Okay. Thank you. Thank you. Okay. Thank you. Yep. All right. Any old business that come before the parks board?
Old business. I do need to bring up about the smoker. Does anybody know the status of the smoker? Yes, the smoker has been delivered. I did get the park board minutes. I did get the okay from the board from the school board and uh and they signed off on they picked it up. It was on November the 18th. Okay. So, they have it. Good. D26, right? Uh, did Judy, you have a copy? I know we received a copy of the signed agreement. Make sure that our attorney gets a copy of that. I have a copy, but I gave your copy to I didn't. He wanted the original.
Who did? They were designed. Who did? Mr. strikes one at the original copy that uh was given to Anderson Community School. So I am trying to get that from Sher whoever can have the original but our attorney Madame Chairman I do have a copy of the signed I do have a copy. Yeah. I I keep copy of it. I did. Okay. Just make sure that Mr. Spencer gets said he was going to take care of send him please. I I'll see David next week. I I'll get covered. Okay. Make sure you ask for that. Thank you. All right. Thank you, Tom. Sure.
All right. Any new business come before the board? Hearing none. Action items. We have the golf view golf course 2026 rates that we need to approve. I think everyone has received a copy. And if you have any questions, Miss Johnson is here to answer them.
You have an extra copy for the attorney as well. Yeah, he needs to know when to play. Thank you.
All right. give you a minute to look over these. Miss Johnson, the only thing different that I I'm going to ask you about is the uh 18hole walking is a little higher than the rest of them. It Well, just the one. Oh, no. I'm sorry. I'm looking wrong. I I see now. Yeah, my eyes. There's a lot of numbers to look at here.
Well, it is the 18 homewood cart is higher for one of them, but that's okay. It's probably the uh 350. I'm saying that right. Yes. At the very bot. Uhhuh. Yes. So that at the bottom of the page, that's the 25 round passes. So the 18 with cart um would be 800 uh 600. Um and then the nine holes with cart would be 350 if that's where we're looking at the bottom. That's just for 25. And then you have the seasonal passes. That's basically unlimited golf any day of the week.
Where are the seasonal passes at? Is that what the 25 round? There's an option. Yeah. Some people do the 25 round pass or some people do the full. Yeah, we generally have that broken down. So I'm I'm asking so I can I got you understand that? Yep. Okay. So the seasonal is the 25 round pass. Oh, it's right above it. Yep. The Yep. There's a section right above seasonal. What is wrong with my eyes today? I'm sorry. I guess I really need to look at this.
The major difference is I think it's the general take is about $3 more on daily fees. Um we run a special every Monday for $20. Um that's 18. So I um increased that to projected to 25 rather than 20 just because of chemical increases and everything else that we have to adjust for. Thank you. Any questions? I don't see anything in here about the discount for the city attorney or senior citizens. He said city attorney. Oh, city attorney. The fifth the fifth one up from the bottom. Look at the number. or for employees or Right.
All right. Any any other questions for Miss Thompson? Why don't we um Mr. Spencer, is it appropriate to do a consensus or should we have we probably need to have an individual vote on this? Yes. Okay. Judy, if you would, I would like for you to call each one's name so they can vote in individually, please. Member Kenny Dor. Yes. Board member Randy Mc. Yes.
Board member and vice president Jackley. Yes. Yes. All right. It's been properly uh moved make properly accepted to accept the uh golf course prices for 2026. All right. Thank you.
Next on the agenda is there. I'm sure there's no park rental requests. Today's December 2nd. I would like to wish everyone a very happy, prosperous, health and safety, merry Christmas and holidays. Thank you, buddy. Same to you. Merry Christmas, River City of Parks. We We probably already I thought we did that in January. I think we did on our date. Yeah. Did we do it now? Yes.
That's why it's on there. Okay. Oh, the dates. You know what I thought this was? What is wrong with me? You want me to read? All of a sudden, I've had a Did you have croer heads before the meeting? No. I'm so sorry. I apologize. Yes. It was training.
The secretary, Miss Streer, has uh boy, I'm so sorry. has given us the dates for our meetings for next year with the exception of one for September 2nd. It should be September 1st. And um if you've everyone's had a chance to look at it, please uh I have a consensus to accept the schedule of make a motion we approve the 2026 meeting dates with the correction of September 2nd to 1st. All right. Probably moved and second to accept. All in favor?
I I All oppose. Motion carries. I'm ready to get out of here, I guess. All right. Now, have an adjournment. I'll make that motion. Not a boy. Thank you. Oh my gosh. I'm ready to get out of here. I don't know what happened. It's like my mind. I had a fog. A brain fog. It's the heat. It is hot in here. And I'm cold. Yeah, it's pretty warm. I'll blame it on that. I don't know. I don't know what's going on, Jack. When you showed me that, you know what I thought it was? elections. I I don't know. It happens sometimes, I guess. Well, we're all busy.
Sure happened to me today. Everybody's busy. My mind's going a mile a minute. We had to get same to you and your fine family. Thank you. Thank you. Happy holidays, Spencer. Um, we had to get a new furnace and still some things they have to do. Our furnace went out before it got cold. We ever fixed the So, they got that back on. Sister's furnace went out. So, she bought they bought a brand new furnace and it came with a uh with a free central air conditioner. Peterman, I don't know who it was.
Yeah, but that tree isn't free. No, we we had Peterman come out. We had a whole lot of people come out, but Peterman's price for that was ridiculous. And especially since nothing's wrong with the air. Her furnace went out uh last last winter. Everything you need? She's had that she's had them back up three more times to fix that new furnace. She's got one. She's not happy. Thank you.
