Uh hello everyone. It's Monday, December 22nd, 2025. We'll hold the city council special meeting to order at 5:00 pm. Um please call the role. Council member Baker here. Council member Curley here. Mayor Kleinfeld here. Council member Shadlick, yes. Council member Scott, here. And uh we'll go into the first hearing of the public. Would anyone wish to be heard? All right, seeing none, the hearing of the public is closed. Uh, we'll go right into new business. Approval of purchase of real property located at 16811 Stevens.
I would move that we approve the purchase of real property located at 16811 Stevens, parcel ID number 02-14-30-281-014. Uh, do we need the legal description in in that motion to or read it? Okay. All right. With the legal description of Henry Stevens subdivision number one, lots 102 and 103. Uh, is that Liber Library 7 page 60 for the total cost of $222,79151 and further authorize the city manager to execute all necessary documents. Smart.
Um, Mr. Mayor, [laughter] I'll I'll second it, but I would like to u explain to the people in the audience and people who are watching [clears throat] at home um you know when we're spending $222,000 they probably would like to know what we're doing what we're buying a building as I said on Stevens and that will be our new location for our dog pound. Is that right to say dog pound? U we are bringing back to our employees at the AEW um DPW
the DPW um the parks. So they have to they need that support in that room. So we searched and uh we found this location on Stevens and [clears throat] uh our administration did a fantastic job getting the price down from what they originally wanted. So congratulations for them and we'll see what happens. So I would support that motion on that. Hey, thank you. Uh Mr. Blum, did you have anything done?
Just on the motion [clears throat] if that could be changed to the assistant city manager with Ryan Mattis not being available tonight. We had everything done in Miss Homeman's name.
