Deer Population Mitigation Status Update

The North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission is aware of the City's intent to apply for a depredation permit when the application period opens in early 2027. In the interim, staff are evaluating alternative options to address the deer population until permit applications become available.

Plants Division of the Public Utilities Department Chemical Bid No. 2026-11 Carbon Slurry

The City of Albemarle received bids for chemicals on June 29, 2026. The chemicals are used in the Plants Division of the Public Utilities Department. Two companies submitted bids for consideration. Bid tabulations are attach to this submittal.
