Tamara majored in music at San Diego State University, and then received a master's degree in music at Northwestern University. Since 2004, Tamara has played various roles as a music conductor at churches of various religions. Based on this experience, Tamara was able to control and play various styles of music at St. James Church. Music tells us the truth about who we are. We are full of hope, we are looking for something, we are thankful, and sometimes we are tired, but we always move towards something bigger than ourselves. Beauty is something that happens when one's voice is no longer lonely. Beauty is harmony. It is the breath that is shared between the seats of the worship hall. It is a sound that is expressed by combining different ages, backgrounds, and stories. Beauty and sexual music awaken us that the difference is not divided. Parts such as soprano, alto, tenor, and bass do not compete. They are essential to each other. There's more. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. You gave me a microphone. What I saw through the sexual sound is that music usually has the power to gather people who will never sit together. Concerts are more than just performances. It's a place to meet. To me, that's what's truly beautiful. And that's why art, especially music, has a very important meaning in our community. Art is not just about making us happy. It teaches us how to form, listen, and support each other. It teaches us that when we raise our voices together, it will be a greater power that we cannot achieve alone. I feel deeply grateful for being here tonight. And I also feel hope. Because art is not something around us, but something that is essential. If you want to finish the division, you shouldn't start with a bigger argument. You have to start by listening. And that's what art teaches us. Music teaches you how to listen to the other person's voice, and theater teaches you how to go into other people's stories. Visual art leads us to look at the world from a different perspective. Supporting art is not simply supporting funding for the program. It is about growing sympathy, strengthening solidarity, and creating commonalities. Through the Sacred Sounds concert series, through the activities carried out by St. James Church, and through our theater, school, and local society, I witnessed what can be done when people choose harmony, not division. This award is from the comedy department. Of course, comedy is also an important part. I saw strangers becoming neighbors, I saw the audience becoming a community, I saw music making so many people into one voice. In an era that is easy to be divided, we have the opportunity to be the backbone of hope. It's not to avoid difficult conversations, It's because we devote ourselves to maintaining relationships.
