When I was young, right there, 2054, Arbutus, I used to look up in the sky and see what you're seeing right now and wonder what God had for me. Always wondered what God wanted me to do. And this is a part of it.

Before he got elected, we talked about this community center and he said, don't worry about it. You're going to get a community center. That was a promise he made, a promise he kept. And so we thank God for him and we thank God for his efforts and the efforts of the city to provide this for us. And there's no better time than now.

a place where I see where children can be tutored, a place where people can come and congregate, you can have nice meetings, a place that potentially you can exercise when the swimming pool comes.

Looking at you in this community, this community is about family, about love, and most of all about God. Because God brought us through so many things in this community.

It has changed. Not only that, you can see the changes even on the street itself. That's the best thing that's happening to Union Hikes in this community. And I think greater change will happen even when we bring the swimming pool in it to the people. So I thank the mayor, I thank council for all the help and looking for different visions for our community.

On the 27th of this month, right, we're going to actually tear down old Gethsemane. That's God's house. And we have to give love towards God's house. Once we, that day we come here, this building will be named Roscoe Mitchell's building.
