City Council - Special Meeting

Okay, welcome everyone to the Asheville City Council meeting. We're actually going into a closed session for a personnel matter, and I'm going to recognize Maggie Ullman to make the motion.

I move that Asheville City Council go into closed session for the following reasons. One, to prevent disclosure of information that is privileged and confidential pursuant to the laws of North Carolina. or not considered a public record within the meeting of Chapter 132 of the General Statutes. The statutory authorizations contained in North Carolina General Statute 143-318.11 , the law that makes information privileged and confidential is North Carolina General Statute 143-318 and to consider the qualifications, competence, performance, character, fitness, conditions of appointment, or conditions of initial employment of an individual public officer or employee or prospective public officer or employee. The statutory authorization is contained in North Carolina General Statute 143-38.11 . Second. All right.
